for me at least MMJ have surpassed every rock band in the world.. they were awe inspiring last night. I couldn't speak afterwards I had no words to express what I witnessed.

good seeing you and elana last night. Had a great time! Wish I knew more of their stuff. I got into them when Z came out (which is my fav album from them). I still need to get At Dawn, I have about half that album on my ipod  . I bought Tennessee Fire about a month ago, but only listened to it few times.

yeah elana picked you out.. we weren't far away.. hope you enjoyed it. yeah TF and at dawn are the more rustic albums that took time for me to enjoy but now songs like phone went west, strangulation, the bear and think I'm going to hell are pretty much my fav songs.

They are truly just one of the best rock bands around. I've seen them a few times now and just a couple weeks ago up at the Newport Folk Festival. There were really good bands on all day, great fest but after about a minute of MMJ playing I just thought to myself how they blew everyone else out of the water. They are THAT good.

Pumped for tomorrow night in Brooklyn.

Totally. I agree it really got going with The Bear. Or maybe with Into the Woods.

Dave that soundcheck thing was tempting but I couldn't get out of work yesterday.

Goddam that shit was fucking awesome - this is definitely the best rock & roll band going right now.

Unfortunately I was in the retarded lady's beer line for 30(!) minutes and missed most of XMas Curtain (I swear I was 2 people away from the front when it started and it still took this dumbass 5 more minutes to get to me).

So many highlights. Run Thru was the shit. I like Victory Dance, but I couldn't believe how much that song gradually drew me in. The Touch Me songs are a little weird, but it just works really well out there.

I didn't really get his joke about the Mann Center being unearthed after 1000's of years, but whatever.

Can't wait 'til the next show/next album, whatever. Still need to hear They Ran, The Way He Sings, Dondante, Golden, many others.

I only heard One Big Holiday when I saw them in Charlottesville last summer and Dondonte was when I was like OK these guys are legit. Big, big fan ever since and this concert blew that one out of the water

Really enjoyed the show last night. Pretty awesome. The Mann is a great place to see a show too.

LIked it so much I'm hitting the show in Brooklyn tomorrow

Anyone been to that venue? Only GA seats available (on TM and SH)...do you need to get there early to get a decent spot? I'm a ticket snob...like having good seats

Also, since it's a state park is alcohol served at the venue?

last 2 shows with red rocks have been the best set's this tour.. need bootlegs! The turnover of songs was great only 11 repeats from Philly to DC.. Aluminum Park is a great song they need to play more often.
