After soaking this album in for a few weeks I have to say it's....pretty friggin sweet.

If I had to pull out a few songs as best would be tracks 4-6. In Its Infancy and Spring stand out the most, though, for me.

    Looking forward to XPN Fest...

I'd be down for that. I'm buying the ticket from a roll call member so hopefully he picks it up early enough.

Great Lakes Brewing isn't as close to the theatre as I thought it was,
but here's a link to the Playhouse Square dining options page:

Great Lakes is over in the Ohio City area of town near the Westside Market!!
I'm probably still heading there to pick up a case of one of my favorite brews...Lake Erie Monster!!
I'd still love to meet-up for a pre-show brew if you're interested and have time!!
Hope to see you on Wednesday!!

Great Lakes has so many solid beers. I plan on swinging by Goose Island in Chicago and also grabbing tons of bombers and checking them in my bag home back to Philly.

Is anyone looking for tickets to any of the Chicago shows? I bought the 3 night package and can't make it to all 3 nights. I have 2 tickets in row FF (which is the 7th row) that are available for face value.

One week til the chicago shows. City is gonna be bonkers with the Hawks in the finals. Game 4 is in chicago on Wednesday night. If the hawks are going for the sweep that would be pretty cool

Yeah I am rooting for the sweep. Plus I'm in an NHL pool and right now the only blemishes on my bracket were the Blues winning in round 1 and the Rangers beating Tampa. If Chicago wins I pick up a cool $550.

And that city will be batshit.

NIce! Glad you got the soundcheck tickets you wanted. You'll have to let me know how it goes. I did the soundcheck for the Circuital tour back in 2011. Really like that they made the signed posters show specific this time around.
Haven't bought any regular tickets yet for any of the West Coast Fall shows. Looks like they're not selling that briskly as GA Floor tickets for the Santa Barbara Bowl are still available a couple weeks after the on-sale. Not thrilled with the choice of venue in LA and the fact that it falls on a Tuesday during the school year (USC campus area). The one thing I do like about the LA show is that Dr. Dog is opening so that's a nice add. Might just look into buying soundcheck tix and then work backwards, seeing what tix open up last minute for either of those shows.
    Enjoy the shows Dave!

I was wondering about this too!!
The original e-mail had the date listed as the first show,
but the link to purchase the tickets was on the second show.
Went ahead with my purchase since I bought the 2-night pass!!
I got this e-mail last night:

This message is being sent to you with an update on the order you placed today for the My Morning Jacket Soundcheck Party taking place in Detroit.
We mistakenly posted that the event was taking place on June 17th but it is actually taking place on June 16th.
There will not be a Soundcheck Party on June 17th.

We've updated your order to reflect the correct date (June 16th) and your order will be honored for that date.

If you are not attending the concert on the 16th, please let us know by emailing us at help@wonderfulunion.com by this Friday at 5pm PT and we will issue you a full refund for your Soundcheck Party.

We are extremely sorry for this error and thank you for your understanding. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let us know.

    Sincerely,
    Wonderful Union

They had all 3 of my requests on the setlist but cut Dancefloors. This was my 17th MMJ show and is definitely in the top 3 or 4. Being in the front row helps! I'll post some pics later.

Dave, sorry I missed you. I didn't get to the theater until 9. Next time!
