Is the MMJ forum crashed? I haven't been able to get in to it for a couple days now.
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

That encore looks pretty amazing. Enjoy night 2!

You know anything about this "Nothing To It" song??
It's on the bootleg from One Big Holiday '15...
but I have no idea where it's from!
Is it a cover or original song?
    It seems kind of familiar,
    but just can't place it!!

It's from The New Basement Tapes project Jim did with Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, and others to make songs from Bob Dylan's lyrics.

Maybe you'll get "Down on the Bottom" tonight. Better song from the same project.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I got "Down on the Bottom" at the NPR record release show. Such a perfect song for MMJ to play live

I got Down on the Bottom at One Big Holiday. It was the first song on the second night. So bad ass. I'm glad it's in the rotation. The music definely sounds like it was written by Jim and could have been a MMJ song. New basement tapes has some solid songs.

I don't know if anyone is interested, but here is a taping of the Knoxville, TN show from May 16th. I didn't record this, but I was there, and the show was awesome. They played all of the new album! I don't believe they've played Get the Point since. Anyway, it was my first jacket show, and it has made me a fan for life, much like PJ.

I witnessed my first MMJ experience this weekend in Minneapolis and I couldn't have been more blown away with how great these guys are. Truly incredible shows shared with great friends.

I have not seen a song rock as hard live as I saw Dancefloors in Minneapolis. Was just unreal. They are definitely worth going out of your way and travel to see. You won't be disappointed with these guys and you'll be in for a treat forgone of the best live shows you can see out there today.

I did both nights in Minneapolis. Just awesome!!!

Night one I got hooked up with third row seats from another 10c member. That was something else. Night two I sat up in the balcony. It was great to get two different perspectives, and 39 different songs without any repeats. Oh, and they were fucking LOUD!!! I actually put earplugs in for most of the shows both nights.

I got to do 7 shows in June, with some of the BEST FRIENDS anyone could ask for!!
Starting off in Cleveland on June 3rd, and then on to Detroit & Columbus for 2 shows in each city before wrapping up the first "leg" of my 2015 MMJ tour in Minneapolis!!

    image

Kicked off the weekend in Minneapolis on Friday with the Soundcheck Party...If you get a chance to do one (we did the one in Detroit too) of these events, it is DEFINITELY worth it AND you can get the SIGNED POSTER option too!!

    image

We bought the 2 night package in Minneapolis and had the same seats for both nights!!

    image

Both shows were just INCREDIBLE...but Night #2 was off the chart!!

    image

The songs from the new album are just AMAZING live and would have to pick "Tropics" as the BEST performance, though we all agreed, it would be a GREAT song to extend a little more when played live!!
We also got an UNBELIEVABLE version of "Steam Engine" and Carl was going NUTS during "Dancefloors"
Was thinking we might have a DAVE GROHL moment when he fell on-stage, but he got right back up and continued rocking out!!

    image

Just an OUTSTANDING month...so glad I was able to see them kick off their Waterfall Tour.
NOW...how am I gonna get thru the next few weeks waiting for my shows in August???

Hope to see you on tour!

I know the code is for their Archive series...
but I sure would like to see My Morning Jacket start up a bootleg program similar to the one Pearl Jam has used!!
Would love to have soundboard recordings of the MMJ shows I attend!!!
    :rock_on:

Finally used my download code tonight.

Now i know how some Pearl Jam fans feel when they don't know what show to download

I went with Red Rocks 2012 night 2
    GREAT choice...
Probably the bootleg I listen to the most!!!
The Port Chester shows are INCREDIBLE too :rock_on:
yeah i thought about the port chester shows or one of the OBH shows but went with this one. It was my first bootleg from them plus the poster looked cool, LOL
    It's an EMEK poster...
    so yeah, pretty cool!!
AND any show that has Xmas Curtain, Steam Engine, Mahgeetah,
    Dondante & Phone Went West
is gonna be hard to beat!!
One of their BEST setlists EVER!!!

    NYC dates added!

I'll be seeing MMJ 3 more times this year (already saw them once). That will make it 12 total for me- only behind PJ.
