Here is the full Dondante from Vancouver.

Its a must to check out, the way they did this song, it was one of a kind. I'm sure they haven't played it like this before.

Let's get that old time feeling back. Summertime=My Morning Jacket

edit: I was at a weekend party recently playing some beirut and threw my iPod in to play "Celebracion de la Ciudad Natal" for some newbies and they loved it. Always great opening the doors for others to experience the power and the glory that is the Jacket.

I just listened to that last week too. That Dondante is so badass.
Im also working on getting The Unlost Dogs hooked on the My Morning Jacket drug. I hear she may be making an appearance at Bank of America Pavillion :D

You gotta get her there kid. That would be so awesome. We're gonna have the most fun that can possibly be had on a Sunday night. The gang just down there on the waterfront, drinking college sodas, grooving to some funky beats. It's gonna be one giant holiday.

edit: the funniest part of playing that live ep for the newbies this weekend was the part after Phone Went West when Jim yells "How u guys doin'?", and everyone was so blasted at the party people were like "Wooo! We're doing great!" I couldn't contain myself.

You gotta let me borrow some of their stuff dude. I honestly haven't given them a fair listen but never see anything bad written or said about them. I feel I haven't given them a fair shake and would like to hear more of their stuff. I love that song they played with Ed onstage in 06, "It Makes No Difference". Could listen to that tune all day.

Have Fenway burn u Okonokos, and listen to that for a week...you'll be hooked for sure...then join the party that will be at Bank of America in August...which will be eerily reminiscent of EVCT11...but waaaay better. (Especially if the band is staying at the same hotel as I am again....AAAAFTER PARTY  )

Anyone in the Roll Call fanclub? I noticed you can finally buy a membership without having to package it with the new album. I noticed it comes with some cool stuff, but want to make sure its worth it before I sign up. T-shirt/poster cool?

They also included a welcome certificate signed by the band...which i recall had a silly typo in it.
Only the first 100 were signed I think. Mine is signed :D

Thats cool! Looks like the poster and shirt are good quality. Shirt sizes comparable to pearl jam...100% cotton? Preshrunk?

Fortunately I got a copy of circuital signed by the band when the album was released, but the certificate is pretty bad ass too.

Nice. I just had my first three posters framed this year. Expensive, but you have to do it up right! Framed the signed Bridge school poster and the two Boston VFC Klausen Posters.

Can't believe this'll be my 8th time seeing these guys next month.

3 in 06 opening for PJ
2 in 08 including NYE NYC
2 in 10 including opening for Petty

So is there seniority on the roll call? Have we determined that yet? I might just never sign up for it since 4 tickets are almost always necessary at this point for these guys.

Shame you didn't make it up for the State Theatre show last October. It was amazing! I am sure BOA Pavilion in August will make up for it though! :D

I know. I was super disappointed. I had a networking event that night I couldn't get out of. There was open bar however, which eased the pain.

I heard through the grapevine that they loved the show/venue, so hopefully they will visit Portland again soon.

Nice. I was just up in your neck of the woods this last weekend. So much natural beauty in Maine. Vacationland baby!

Such a great night...and as soon as I noticed the sax on stage i was like :o its gonna be a good night...and it most certainly was :D

well i got roll call tickets for philly. 3 of them actually, and ended up third row from the stage in the orchestra pit, center section, on the aisle. also got 5 roll call tickets for merriweather that are all in the ga pit. roll call is worth it for the bonus gifts alone, but it's also definitely worth it for tickets. in addition to it being a lot easier to get good tickets with roll call, they are also a few dollars cheaper.

there is not a 2 ticket limit with roll call. some shows noted a 4 ticket limit, but you seemed to be able to get as many as you wanted, just 4 per transaction.

i will be seeing my 19th, 20th, and 21st shows in august. can't believe it. like you, my first 3 times seeing them were opening for pj in '06.

.....and by the way, it's not seniority based at the moment, but i would be surprised if they aren't keeping some kind of eye on the memberships to make them become seniority based down the line. especially if they get more popular over the years. if i were you, i'd sign up.

Fuck it. I signed up. The poster and tshirt look cool. Actually seems like a better package than the analog membership. Are the pre-sale tickets will call or do they send them to you?

I would have done it earlier, but it was only available in package format with LP, etc. The shipping was the same price as the vinyl, so I passed.

Seems like tix are will call and we'll have to use our membership cards.

It's a way better deal than 10c, imo. The shirt and poster alone are worth $30, prolly more when you look at the price of most band shirts or show posters. Then you got the presales for some serious road dogs and the self hypnosis series. Bummed I missed out on the signed welcome letter, but that's somethin that's prolly not even a real possibility for 10c.

With 10c you get a pretty nice tshirt with a lame design, the xmas single whenever it comes, at most 1 newsletter a year, and a chance at tix for a decreasing touring schedule.

We'll see how Roll Call comes along but they stormed out of the gate. I dunno if there's gonna be a yearly "welcome back" package, but if they keep that up I don't think 10c can quite measure up.

Can't believe this'll be my 8th time seeing these guys next month.

3 in 06 opening for PJ
2 in 08 including NYE NYC
2 in 10 including opening for Petty

So is there seniority on the roll call? Have we determined that yet? I might just never sign up for it since 4 tickets are almost always necessary at this point for these guys.

well i got roll call tickets for philly.

Cool. Thanks for the 411. I didn't initially sign up for it because the Boston Harborlights show was 2 ticket maximum.
