a friend of mine was at the show at the fox in oakland last night. from the sound of it, and judging from the setlist, this may have been the show of the tour so far.

From the latest Rolling Stone article about MMJ:
"As usual, the stage is decorated with various owls and the band's two giant stuffed bears. 'They're our spirit animal guides,' Hallahan explains. 'They make sure we're going in the right direction.'"
It's a good article written by Brian Hiatt. There's even a great photo of Jim with some lead singer of a band named Pearl Jam taken in Italy 2006.
I was at the Oakland show on Friday night. I still haven't been able to find my face after it got melted that night.
Seattle setlist. Another good show, but on paper, not as good as Oakland. It looks like they are keeping a similar set, and switching out some Circuital stuff as well as some older gems. I believe this is the first Butch Cassidy of the tour. I'm not sure if it was a full Run Thru or not

Just got back, show was out of this world good. Smile on my face was permanent, crowd was great, especially the balcony, guys going crazy. When that first bass line hits in Victory Dance, its a thing of beauty. I got my Laylow and Dondante, with steam engine, so I was happy. The setlist was near perfect for me. Will post pics and a vid soon. Can't wait for wednesday night here in Vancouver, I have second row dead center. Oh and I also scored something quite nice from last night, will post that too.

I'm not sure how long it's been out, but there's a pretty good read in the new Rolling Stone on the band and Circuital. Victory Dance was partially written about Lasik surgery?
Also, loved the quote from Jim, ""I don't want to write about my sex parts being on fire, just so we have a huge song." LOL

And to answer the question previously. Run Thru last night was only partial. I have a vid of it uploading now.
