My Morning Jacket is thrilled to play alongside the one and only Preservation Hall Jazz Band in this beautiful new film from Danny Clinch. The film details a magically collaborative performance between the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and MMJ- late one night down in the French Quarter at the legendary Preservation Hall itself, along with documentary footage and interviews about the Preservation Hall and its rich New Orleans heritage. Can't wait to see Louisiana Fairytale! That looks so awesome. The RS article on that show last year was awesome. Can't wait to see the performance. Also, I bet it has the same feel as Immagine in Cornice and Foo Fighters Skin and Bones DVDs since it's Danny Clinch.

well considering they have a gap between the 7-16 show and 8-4 show, i'd say they will def tour the northeast between that gap or after the 8-4 show

Just saw the tour announcement. I am a little disappointed there's no northeast dates as well. But I'm sure there's more to come towards the end of the summer. I need these guys to come around to help me forget that I'm not doing PJ20.

Scored GA for the Fox in Oakland. Stoked about this. This will be my third time seeing these guys. Definitely the closest i've gotten to the stage, and in such a small venue! My face might melt seeing Mahgeetah played this up close.
