Knew it was coming for a few months. Glad we decided to do Punta Cana instead. It'll be great though.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Agreed.  Especially since it sounds like all shows are all GA.  Hate when bands do that for arena shows.  Would much rather pay extra for a better seat than have to fight the masses for a decent spot.
  • If anyone has a code for the "Z" experience presale tomorrow morning (8/08) that they have no intention of using or can't make the show, PLEASE PM me. My roll call membership lapsed and I did not re-join in time before they got rid of it altogether. Thanks for any consideration you give this matter.

This has more to do with the arena in this case I think. This place usually always does GA floor and then a GA bowl for the rest of the seats. Packed shows can be kind of a mess. Can't wait though.

    Fully GA arena shows?

    Weird

I went to that venue for ween. You either have floor or arena but yeah, it's all GA.

super lame.  even if I didn't book OBH, this would probably be a deal breaker for me

the chicago theater 3 night run was great.  was able to lock in the same great seats for all three shows.  that's how it always should be -- a GA seated free-for-all sounds like a nightmare.  Especially since it cuts into pre-show booze time if you want a decent seat.  no thank you

It'll be fine. MMJ and NYE. All will work out. im definitely jealous you're doing OBH though.
  • Anyone have a presale code for NYE tickets?

When was the last time they played in Vancouver? They haven't played in Toronto for a few years now. Sort of wondered what was up with that?

  • What's their weakest album?

I don't know that they have a true "weakest" album...
I will say that the one the perform the least songs from is The Tennessee Fire,
but it's still an incredible record!!

Have to agree about TF though it's still a good album, but just weaker than the rest

Beautiful evening for my 20th My Morning Jacket show...
I got to see this special show at the same venue where I saw my first MMJ show back in 2008.
    The setlist was perfect!!!
Highlights for me were Jim's "Gentle On My Mind" cover / tribute to Glen Campbell,
    an incredible version of Tropics,
and the closing songs of the main set:
    State Of The Art
    Dondante
    Victory Dance
and an AMAZING performance of the end of Run Thru to close out the first set.
Got to hang out with GREAT friends...
and we got another awesome poster by Columbus native Clinton Reno.
