I love how we're 6 pages deep and there's no mention of the Hawks. Nobody cares about them, especially even in their own home town.

I don't mean to insult, but every other 1st round series has at least one title contender in it, some teams chances are obviously better that others, but the Hawks/Bucks series DEFINITELY does not have a title contender in it. Just a meaningless series IMO. Again, I do not mean to insult.

None taken, and I totally agree with you that its a non-factor. I would have hoped at least one solitary Bucks or Hawks fan was out there. But it's funny, here in Atlanta, they've all but written them off because they're so horrible on the road. People are talking about Jason Hayward or the Falcons draft rather than the one team the city's had in the playoffs in two years.

the Cavs have some of the weakest fans around.

and what's with the tissue falling from the ceiling after a first round win. really?

    2 things:

1: nba refs are either the worst in pro sports or like someone insinuated, the league tries to fix outcomes ...

2: it's easy enuf to not like boston teams but having to listen to whoever the analyst is for their games was downright painful ... i mean - every home broadcaster is for sure a homer but show at least an ounce of objectivity maybe? ... that guy totally has blinders on to the point he's getting made fun of at nba tv ...

I'm 21 and as a lifelong fan of the NBA, I have to agree that my only problem with the NBA currently is it's piss poor officiating. It doesn't help that David "asshat" Stern goes to the lengths of trying to keep it hush hush by threatening fines and other punishment to anyone who criticizes the referees.

Soo...when can we get a new commissioner?

I will say just this: I miss the mid-1990's NBA. Maybe that's just because that's what I grew up on...but the game seemed more...true.

Not to mention that the Bucks haven't been a contender for a while now if my memory serves me right. I'm sure the fans have basketball fever right now.

Yes indeed, go Suns. I'm hoping they can trek on to eventually defeat the Lakers.

Also I'm looking forward to this Celtics/Cavs match-up. It's sure to be an exciting series.

When's the last time the suns beat the spurs in the playoffs? Spurs are only gonna get tougher as they go along, and depending on how banged up the lakers get..... I can see them getting to the finals

Me too, they've surprised me this year. Suns and Spurs should make a for a great series.

For real. Sloan is the man. He's a hardass coach too, or at least that's the word around SLC. Hoping for the last nail in Denver's coffin tonight.

Let's Go Nuggets! Must find a way to get the series back to the DCO for Game 7 on Sunday. I'd be lying if I said I think it's gonna happen... But hey, that's why they play the game!

He fucking deserves one. He's coached consistently good teams for a long time, with the exception of the rebuilding years after Stockton and Malone left.

He used to be a Bull too...which I'm sure is no news to you. :?

I'm all about having faith...but The Jazz are one of the best home teams in the league...and the Energy Solutions Area will be hosting Denver's funeral tonight.

Sincerely though, I like Denver as a team...they've got talent. It's a shame they've just cracked under the pressure. Best of luck to you. :D

Thanks for the good sportsmanship, and same to you! I joked with my wife that we'll be watching the 10 o'clock news since I figure our heartless Nuggets will be behind 15-20 going into the 4th quarter. It IS quite the homecourt advantage there.
The Nuggs frustrate me waaaaay too much to be a hardcore fan. All the talent in the world, but no heart. Funny 'cause our Avs were just the opposite this season. I'll root for whoever wins this series moving forward since SLC has a soft spot in my heart. I was a lottery winner for the show out there last year and we were treated really well by the Cougar Fans when we attended the CSU/BYU football game wearing our green and gold. Classy people everywhere in UT!!!

Glad to hear you've got a soft spot as we'll be sending you home crying tonight. ;)
