    Chad,
When is your new book coming out? ;)
    thanks for asking...

as we speak i have a few piles of poetry resting on one of my sofas.
i'm supposed to be reading through them looking for misspelled words and whatnot.
i'm having a very difficult time in doing so.

i find it very taxing to edit 800+ poetry pages.
once i do get that completed i'll be set.

i want a better publisher than the one i currently have.
i deserve a publisher who gives a fuck.

Pearl Jam has given me a creative impulse that surges through my pen like a magical bolt of lightening. I am grateful to have published a book of some of my work. I’d like to start a new thread supporting my poetry books. When the Pearl Jam message board changed my book thread was lost. I am currently writing my second poetry book.

Info on my first poetry book:

    Title: My Feelings
    Author: C.J. Krueger
    ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

    Thank you for your time.

Dear Chad, Just want to send you a big Thank you !!!! I received your poetry book and just LOVE IT :D The cover is a - peaceful - winter scene, and the book is filled with wonderful poetry. Your poetry is simply beautiful, sentimental and strong feelings from your heart.

For all of us who enjoy reading poetry - I recommend Chad's book - " My feelings " the title is just perfect. It gives a completely different side of Chad.

Take care always, wishing you all the best.

P.S. some days you crack me up and I can't stop laughing. Let me know when your second book comes out - I will be the first to get a "signed" copy. Thank you, :D

Feels weird to promote yourself, huh? Writers are better at hiding in the shadows. However, it is the absolute right thing to do. Chadwick, soon I will arrange a transfer of writing goods with you... or I'll just buy a copy of your book. However, I want it autographed. You hear me? I'm bossy!

yeah it does feel weird promoting myself.
i am a bit shy about myself and i am reclusive.
    am i a hermit?
    could be.

i know i like being alone so i can write.
i have a great time being left alone so i can write.
i tell people i am boring and yet they do not believe me.

    edit:
yeah let's get you a copy of my book and vice versa.

I feel like such a whore promoting myself. Big reason why my band broke up on the eve of signing a record deal.

at some point it must be done though.

I'm at the cross roads right now, self promotion, or just go back into the shadows again for a few years.

everyone should buy a copy of Chadwicks book !

All three of you are great writers and worthy of being published. I'll bite, but I want my copies autographed, too. Blatant self promotion is ok when you are still relatively unknown. You can lay off somewhat after you all have become rich and famous, at which point I will sell my autographed books on ebay.
;) Not fucking likely!! (that I would sell my treasures, that is)

Well, if you like fighting the power, and if you like fucking the man :o , and above all, if you like to keep on rockin', I think you would enjoy my book. I'm not afraid to verbally slap around those who deserve it from time to time.

Thank you for the compliment, kind sir.

Possibly. However, I do think it's ok to place a rattlesnake in someone's mailbox, then shake it real hard, and run away.

    of course i can.
i usually try to throw in some kind of gift as well.

    something like
    cat litter... fresh or used
    gravel from the road
    sticks from my yard
grass still all rooted up in some nice dark earth (damp of course) (a tuft)?
a few leftover burritos from the piñata party
and finally a hand full of very short/small pencils i used when i was in college... yes they are mostly ticonderoga brand pencils, very short.

you'll have to discuss this with eyed.
unaided, eyed himself wrote the bible single-handedly.
keep in mind, this was back when times were tough.
if i remember correctly every Egyptian pharaoh & all Roman emperors have tried to rewrite eyed's work.
    it hasn't happened yet.
