  • My favourite bands at the moment, besides Pearl Jam, are Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire and The White Stripes.

I love Radiohead' stuff upto Kid A, but hate In Rainbows

I didn't mind the second Raconteurs album, but didn't like The Dead Weather at all.

I hated Spoon's 'Transference' album, found it incredibly dull and average.

Grizzly Bear is still very hit and miss.

I became bored ridiculously quickly with "Teen Dream".

    What album(s) would you recommend?

    :D
It's gonna be a glorious day...

I love the Raconteurs, can't wait for them to get back together. I also hated The Dead Weather. They were way too.......out there.

One of my favorite Indie/Alternative bands around right now is the Silversun Pickups. Give their most recent album, Swoon, a listen.

    who am i

December 9, 1967 marked the first of many incidents while in concert. During a show in New Haven, Connecticut he was arrested for attempting to incite a riot by telling the crowd that the police had sprayed him and journalist Patricia Keneally with mace backstage just before the concert.
Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse
Of my innocence... got back my inner sense...

Seriously? Jim Morrison. That story is legend around here. I remember being like 8 years old and listening to "Peace Frog" in my dad's car and being like "HOLY SHIT THAT GUY JUST SAID NEW HAVEN!!!!"

-Borrow it from one of your family members
-Sell anything and everything (some of your Europe tickets?)
-Work overtime or find a temp job.

You shouldn't even try. My mom shops a TON and for expensive, stupid stuff (in my opinion) and my dad is ALWAYSSS complaining about it to me. But he never really tells her to "stop". And they have a great marriage too.

I guess shopping is just something that keeps women sane.

The Rolling Stones played an unannounced gig there when they began the Bridges to Babylon tour. My mom was there, but I couldn't go because it was 18+ and I was like 9 :x :x :x :x :x. That being said, I wouldn't totally 100% rule it out.

Criminally retarded is two words. I really don't know what you mean by it either.

Well, you aren't much of an answer guru, are you? The parenthetical aside follows the word "retarded" which is really the only word in the sentence folks might object to. I shouldn't have to explain things to the all knowing...
