Still haven't decided who to support this year. I'm leaning towards England, just to piss everyone off :P

There is something magnificent about his expression. Looks like he's been up to no good and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perhaps he found Maradona's stash

You won't piss me off but you're wasting your time. After 2 weeks of the World Cup for England it'll be

I kind of like Juanito. The slanty eyes. The standard latin american shirt that is too short exposing the robust belly. Perfect.

I'm actually not an England hater... I would be happy to see them in the final.. obviously I don't want them to win it but thats only because of the English media and the absolute crap we'd have to put up with for years... not because of ancient rivalry or because I don't like the team.

Also i hate their fucking fans. big fat cockneys with bulldog tattoos that are sponsored by shit Umbro england gear.... total wankers.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Well, I don't really wanna be associated with them. Might join my friend in supporting North Korea.

+1 They give the rest of us a bad name. I'd be happy to see a foreign police force make them disappear.

Ferdinand out - no big hoofs up the pitch now then

Drogba possibly out - the grass will last longer without him throwing himself over.

    Dawson in - interesting.

Just need Heskey to have a training injury and things wil be looking up a bit.

It'd be cool to see USA take the cup, but Americans wouldn't enjoy it the way other countries have. The most exciting national triumph would've been the hockey gold medal - alas...

Of course, it'd be fun to hear the English having another collective nervous breakdown over their team losing to the Americans of all teams.

    Anyways, my other favorites...

    FORZA ITALIA! CAMPIONI DEL MONDO!!!

  • I don't think Italy will even make the semis (Although i haven't seen who they could face in the quaters)

What makes this World cup interesting is that apart from Spain every major country has been underperforming really. May get a few suprises...

Fuck the World Cup!! Scotland didn't even bother entering this year. Too commercial they said! I think Argentina, Spain or Italy. Would love the Dutch to win it or a complete minnow! Don't think England have the squad this year but I didn't think Denmark or Greece would win the Euros? Show's I know fuck all about it!

  • I just moved to South Africa a couple weeks ago. This place is going crazy for the World Cup. On Fridays everyone wears their Bafana Bafana jerseys. There are South African flags everywhere. Most people are realistic and don't expect much from the home team, but they have been playing well lately. If they can get past Mexico in that first match this country will go crazy. And the expectations will rise. The next few weeks shoudl be very interesting here. I don't plan to go to any of the games, but like the rest of the country I'll be watching onTV.
