It's getting closer! C'mon peeps, spill those plans!

I'm cooking my man a meal... he has to go out for the afternoon and come back when it's ready :D
(I can't say much more, he sometimes haunts these parts 8-))

What are you doing for your significant other?
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

We'll probably get drunk and wrestle until we break some furniture and scare the cats.

Just another day. If you need specified holiday to be romantic or nice to the one you love, then you're beyond help anyway. I'd rather do something for someone or have them do something for me on some random day rather than when they feel like they have to.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.

i get out the stockings, suspenders, sex toys, whips, lotions, etc.... I have no idea what my wife does.

i don't do anything as it's Valentines Day... let Valentine have all the fun that day for a change. thats a good excuse and i'm sticking to it.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

  • On years that Ive had a lady friend, it's been a good time. No complaints.

Years like this, where there's no lady friend, it's kinda rough.

Eh, for the most part, it really doesn't sound that different between the two countries. Here, men and women in loveless relationships and marriages feel obligated to buy shit for each other. Of course, that isn't always the case, but all too often...

    i improved your plans. ;)
hope to do the same.....tho scare the dogs.

we're 'celebrating' valentine's day saturday night, just more convenient that way. going to our favorite mexican place: http://www.besitomex.com/
no gifts, just cards....probably a really special homemade breakfast sunday and a lazy day together. really, not that much different than a regular saturday night/sunday for us....pretty fortunate in that sense.
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

Hubby leaves every year for a fishing trip on that day...so i'll be all by my lonesome. He's also on strike so money's kinda tight right now so we won't be buying anything for eachother this year.
