Am I a fraud if I root for the Bobcats also because of Kemba Walker?

Absolutely terrible. But, I'll say this, and I'm sure I'll get shit for it - anything that a woman pledges allegiance to is absolutely irrelevant. On top of that, her husband - who I am going to let slide and assume he is from Wisco - is a Packers fan so the female extension of the male is going to latch onto whatever he likes when it comes to sports.
That's the fraud you and Juggler were talking about?

i will agree that a lot of women do that, but i can't get mine to....she refuses to root for the Bulls, since she grew up a piston fan.

Is she from the Detroit area? If so, good her her, I can see she was raised with some morals.

damm ... she's a keeper ...
nothing worse than a partner that latches on to everything ...
I do agree with this to a certain extent. If you're with someone and they absolutely turn into you, that's just bad news. But in some instances, it just naturally happens. My hubby taught me all about the sport of football and took me to games and appreciated that I originally wasn't into it, but I grew to love it as I never really got into it at all before. He actually says that he created a monster because I seem to be more into it now than him. Does that make sense? He's totally into other sports, that to be honest I could just care less about. And don't get me started on our musical tastes - total opposites. So I don't think it's necessarily always a bad thing for a person make a change - as long as they are passionate about it and then stick with that team through thick and thin. Just my 2 cents!

coming from a person that cast the Bears aside like a woman with a Blue Waffle, your 2 cents just doesn't carry much weight with me.

For the record - the first year I was a true Packer fan they went 4-12! Most of those wafflers woulda jumped right back on the Bears bandwagon after that!

I'm guessing the Bears didn't have a bandwagon for you to jump back onto that year! I'm just assuming we were terrible that year.

What are the FRAUD rules if you hail from a city with only 1 major sports team? Do you automatically root for the nearest franchise or what I have done is root for the teams that I played on as a youngster (little league)?
