even the Pirates are 3 games over. what's wrong on the south side? i'd go with lack of timely hitting. K's, pop outs and ground outs with bases loaded and nobody out doesn't help. not getting in runners from second with no outs. they are a very ineffective team when it comes to situational batting.
Because this team just isn't that good as it is constructed right now. Rios, Dunn and Beckham are all basically automatic outs at the plate. No one can steal bases. No one can hit with RISP. The only positive has been the pitching staff which has kept the Sox hovering around .500. Who knows how long that will last. Unless this offense comes around (which is highly doubtful at this point), this team is completely fucked. Oh yeah, and to put the cherry on top, the Twins are coming into town for 4 games. It's time for this team to show just how mentally weak it is and get walked all over by the Twins AGAIN.

Yep, I really don't see this offense turning it around after a few days off unless something changes drastically. How Greg Walker still has a job is a complete mystery to me.
I doubt they will turn into sellers though...not with how weak this division is. If you get hot for a couple weeks, you'll be in first place.

I've been to 3 games...2 were free tickets and 1 I paid for. I really don't see myself spending any $$ to go watch this nonsense if things don't turn around. Hell, I don't even know if I would go for free right now.
