i think it's because their opponents have such a big lead that they put out the last guy in their pen just to get some work in.

    i saw that stat too.

does anybody in the cubs line up scare you?

maybe the tribune just developoed it. i don't know. but the answer has to be out there. i might go look at the 88 baltimore squad and see what they did during their 21 game losing streak.

i'm sure if i could access the database, i could figure it out really quick. :x

I see Mr. Zambrano got ROCKED last night.
Had to be pulled in the 5th inning?

2-3 for the year, and it a week away from June?

This clown wont win 10 games....

with the way he has pitched, he should have 6 wins.

number of games where he went 6-7 innings giving up 0 or 1 runs only to get zero support.

by all accounts, he's been pitching well, outside of a couple of clunkers.

looked at the 97 cubs 0-14 start. longest streak during that debacle was 45 innings.

i'm thinking that 59 is pretty impressive. gotta be anouther streak out there. need to find a team with bad hitting and pitching

excel wouldn't be big enough to handle all the data in one data set.

it'd be over 2M innnings by my count.
