It will be a rebuilding year for at least the next 3 years, which is fine with me, probably the only realistic chance we have of getting better is once we get rid of all those overpaid veterans, ie Soriano.

Its a good year to bet against the cubs every game. In this bad economy its the only lock investment option. Im a cub fan and gambler and always see them favored -150+ especially at wrigley..they should not be favorites over any team. Curious if I can find out how much money you would be up if you bet $50 vs. the cubs every game for the past two years. My guess is you would have raked in the $$.

i'm going to wager....if you bet agaist the cubs every game, you would be a loser. they were only 20 games under.

if you assume they were dogs every game with a line of -175, you would win 28 on each win, and lose 50 on each loss.
28.57*91=2600
-50*71=-3550

2600-3550= -950

if you assume they are favored every game at -150, you would be up 3275
