    This is amazing news, and a Soundgarden tour with Pearl Jam would be the ultimate!!!!!!! Double duty for everybody's favorite drummer.

    Yeah that was my first thought.. would be a tuff show for Matt but damn if it wouldn't be worth it! We'll just pop him full of b vitamins and caffeine.

    Everyone else has their "side projects", this could be matts not-so-side-project i guess. but i doubt hed put soundgarden before any pj plans which im sure have been in the works before a soundgarden tour.

    Soundgarden at the Commodore Ballroom in 1992 was one of the best shows I've ever been to in my life (and I've been to a lot).

    Hopefully Cornell has his ego in check and they can make some awesome music.

    PJ and Soundgarden on the same bill with Matt playing both sides? Incredible. Temple of the Dog songs as encores? Ridiculous. Will it ever happen? Probably not.

    It's looking more and more as if Matt is taking a break for 5 or so months with PJ and working with his old band, followed by the PJ euro-trip and a fall US whatever. Im ok with this.

    1. soundgarden rules - love to see them reunite no matter what

    2. little break for PJ, with Cameron working with Soundgarden - Eddie gets some voice rest, maybe rethinks cigarettes for awhile, returns all the stronger.
