I just got an email from Travelodge today advertising £20 rooms and notice Manchester Upper Brook Street is £20 per night, and about 1.4 miles from Manchester Central, I am thinking of doing that, probably meeting you guys for drinks afterwards and getting a taxi back. I have just had a look at Manchester Central (disorganised, I know and its about £60-70 per night).

Had a lovely day today, unexpected three course lunch at Pizza Express, picked up my new specs and sunglasses, saw a pirate ship in the harbour and now listening to the Gaslight Anthem.
Oh and despite being on leave, I checked my work email (naughty I know) and discovered that a bid submission I wrote for a place on a national programme was successful - feeling quite proud of myself - yay!

Nice one, the plan is to come up from London for the first night and meet up with my friend and his wife who live in Manchester so I think for the afternoon I will be going to see them as I haven't properly met their kids yet but we will probably be out for a couple before/after the show.
I am going to the second night with a couple I know from back home, but don't know if they are driving up and back in the same night, we are seated both nights but we will sort something out. It would be good to catch up with everyone, can't believe Ireland was two years ago!

Peeps, I haven't entered the lottery for Ed tickets, this makes me feel rather wibbly and like things are beyond my control. But I can't afford £100 at the minute, and want to know where peeps are going in the main before I take any sort of plunge. Can you keep me in mind for spares if you have any and I will be forever grateful.
