Anyone hear any of the "Live from a Moon Shaped Pool" tracks that participating indie stores were playing? Any comments on what they sounded like....were they recordings from the current tour or were they songs/sounds unique to today's 'event'? When I stopped by mine at 10a this morning they were playing non-Radiohead music.

From 12pm-3pm they were streaming a live Radiohead show. I missed that and only heard playlists curated by the band. I think the show is replaying later today.

I heard part of it at my local shop. Sounded great! Different from the album, for sure....

Was hoping to spin the lp before vacation, but it will arrive while we're gone.

By most accounts the Optimal Media version is superior quality.

Note: Two separate pressings of AMSP on Opaque White exist based on matrix runouts.
One is by Optimal Media GmbH (this pressing) and the other is by Rainbo Records (here).

The Optimal Media pressing has a sticker with the correct barcode and catalog number XLLP790X stickered over the barcode of the regular black vinyl issue outside the sealing foil, indicating that white vinyl copies of the Optimal Media pressing are actually packaged in covers made for the regular issue. The catalog number on the spine of the Optimal Media pressing is "XLLP790".

The Rainbo pressing has the correct barcode printed on the back cover with 'XLLP790' printed below as the catalog number.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

    I stand alone without beliefs

Totally happy with it, sounds much richer, more depth in sound than the original MP3. Favourite tracks, Decks Dark, Identikit and The Numbers..

Me too. It's definitely my favorite song on the album and I just want more of it.

Very nice, great venue to see them for the first time! I've seen them 3 times myself, the first was on the OK Computer tour, there was even a mosh pit back then.. :)

They are incredible live. Honestly expect some knuckleheads in the crowd to ruin some of the quieter moments. This happened when I saw them a few years ago.

This is so true. I ended up sat next to one in Manchester a few years ago. He spent the whole night telling me how lucky we were to see airbag... it was the second song and then shouting for karma police. It made me laugh because we were way at the back at the top of the arena. It's a really big arena! Great night though.

Sad, but true - Sydney '04 during Pyramid Song had some knobhead scream out "who farted" while the entire crowd was in awestruck silence.....

I've been lucky enough to see them 4 times & they are amazing

I don't think it ships until the start of Sept. I'm sure I ordered it to go to my work because I thought it would arrive while we are on vacation and I didn't want it sat on my doorstep for a week.

The album is spread out over 2 LP's and cut at 45rpm, sounds fucking amazing, plus 2 CD's, one full of extra tracks and a book of artwork.. :)
