My TV died a few days ago. Still waiting on my replacement part...once I get it, it's GAME ON!

It's pretty bad ass.

It's just like the 1st one with better maps, way more perks and custom set ups to it.

I haven't checked out the single player yet.

The story line is great in this one. I don't want to ruin it but it makes some connections to the last modern warfare. A few twists and turns are in the story mode as well.

Have yet to play online yet.

I have never played it, but I am getting curious. I was thinking about getting the last COD to start, but my main questions is: I dont have online play, so is it worth getting just for the single player game?

negative. these games are really designed for online play.

the mwf1's single player mode was fun, but not terribly long. i hear mwf2's is even shorter. all of the reviews i read for mwf2 has strong warnings for non-online players. this game would be a great starting spot for you to get an xbox live account. $50 for the entire year. well worth it.

if not, i would say they are both rentals (unless you can get a used copy of mwf1 for like $20-$30).

I haven't played the new one yet, but the previous two (Modern Warfare and World at War) had really short single player game modes.

Both were good (MW better), just really short!

It's def. a multiplayer game!

There is a mode called Spec Ops that allows for split-screen play with a friend for those of you without a solid internet connection (friends still required though ).

i have 3 games and have only played one. once i beat bioshock, ill take a crack at uncharted 2 and valkyria chronicles.
