Coming in Wednesday.  Reviews so far are pretty mixed. I pre-ordered it before finding out it’s AAD and pressed at GZ.  The 7” includes Endless Nameless, a nice bonus to have. Guess it turned out to be Limited Edition and my be OOP already.

I thought I had a BG cut of this album, turns out I don’t. Just have that 2011 boxset.

Hmm, interesting.  I have the 2013 BG one, RTI/Pallas.  I believe it's exceptional, although I haven't listened in a few years.

This one says it is mastered by Ryan Smith.  He does amazing work, so I can't imagine this one sucks.  But manufactured in Czech makes me leery.  I got a recent album from GZ in Canada and it's fine.
I got this yesterday. I have the 2009 BG and that version is amazing. This one being AAD is a bit disappointing but for digital, it really could have been a lot worse than it turned out to be. As mentioned before, having Ryan Smith involved makes a difference because he does solid work. I was surprised at how limited this is being touted as now and saw some videos that mentioned it was way oversold in some retail stores and that stores were getting way fewer copies than they originally ordered... Some say its to drive sales of the deluxe box others disagree...IDK but I would be a little upset if I owned a store and ordered a few hundred copies of a title and only received a handful with little to no real explanation as to why.
    There's 133 for sale in discogs... that's a ton.
Yea, I really don't know how "limited" this thing really is. It is in stock on Amazon and I saw three copies on the shelf at my Target yesterday.

I think the smaller record stores are being shut out for the big box stores on this one, which is disappointing. Saw the YouTube vids mentioned earlier. Not a conspiracy guy, sounds like poor communication really.

I went to a Bowie pop up shop in Soho. Bought these two. I hope the sound is decent.

Great! I am curious how it magically appeared? USPS error(not that they would admit it) or Good Samaritan who did receive it and delivered it themselves. Either way congratulations!
  • My mom wanted me to line up to get the artists new album signed for her. She likes signed things. Then suddenly my brother also wanted one signed, and my other brother wanted one signed, and then my sister wanted one signed.

So I had to buy five copies.

Where did you order it from?  Any details about uniqueness, pressing, mastering?

I have this one, and it is very good.  I probably wouldn't upgrade for just color but if it's KG, AAA or something like that, then I would..  The 2018 is mastered by BG and cut by CB, so good lineage.

Is the sound quality from the PJ20 Cd version good.  I'm pretty jazzed up for this one, but Don't want to open a box and have the thing sound like it was recorded with two tin cans and a string.  Not that their is any history of this from the guys, but I can't imagine they had cutting edge recording capabilities that early on in their live career.
Well that was a rather quick pre order...I unfortunately have yet again lost out on some good PJ vinyl

oh man, that sucks.  That's the first time I've seen this happen.  The last couple vaults were up forever and never showed as sold out.  You just ran out of time.

Weird having this be not "made to order" but instead seems to have had a decided amount from the get go.

I saw my mail carrier today. He said he found it in the lobby of a building down the street. I guess the person delivering for him that day misread the address. I am just glad there were honest people in that building since it was in their lobby for five days. Mystery solved.

yeah man I was surprised based on past vaults I figured I had a week at the least.
I missed clear No Code because I wasn't on my computer and actually had work to do on that day.  Who knows maybe I will get lucky and score a Glow in The Dark Benaroya when they inevitably repress.
