    “Martin Barre on the marimba.”

    LOL.

I saw Tull around the time the record came out.  Great show!
Saw Tull a couple times in my young metalhead years. What a cool show. I'm pretty sure the stage was a giant ship. A later tour, maybe 1987. My friends cool dad took us. Makes flute playing rock. Helped me appreciate other, non metal, music.
89 in San Diego for me.
89 USF Sun Dome for me.
Haha.. I went to USF. I've seen my share of shows there,  including the Screaming Trees.

Used to go to all the free shows there (not at the Dome but on campus): Midnight Oil, Mudhoney/SY, The Cult, Dead Milkmen, so many good ones.

Some of those may have been in Gainesville, which was a further drive for me. College campuses and The Ritz in Ybor were this kid’s salvation.

I always love me some new Bob Dylan.  One interesting thing of note, under additional musicians it lists Fiona Apple.  I’m curious as to what songs she contributed and what instruments etc.

New Ray Wylie Hubbard.  Has a pretty big list of guest stars.  Some tasty licks and fun lyrics.

I got Alice In Chains unplugged!!!! 10/10 recommend! It sounds so much better on vinyl! I either want Facelift, Chris Cornell's Euphoria Mourning or Higher Truth.
Music on Vinyl always does a top notch job on all their pressings, but they really knocked AIC Unplugged out of the park. One of my favorites to listen to. And you should totally get Euphoria Mourning on vinyl. Sounds great as well. Pretty sure it hovers right around the $20 mark on Amazon, which is a steal as far as I'm concerned with how good that album in.
Yeah. I've been getting most of my albums for about $20 on amazon. Audioslave's self titled, Nirvana's Bleach, Lightning Bolt, (Badmotorfinger was over $20, but came with a bunch of extras) AiC Unplugged is my favorite vinyl!! I'm kind of bouncing around what I want. I'm so indecisive when it comes to records! I'm definitely going to either get Facelift, which is my favorite album of all time right now, or Incubus Make Yourself, and I'm still thinking about getting Euphoria Mourning. I also want Vitalogy. I just blew $20 on guitar picks and now I barely have any money. My sister and my dog attacked my picks. I also think my acoustic guitar ate some. I'm not old enough to have a job yet. Vitalogy is my least favorite PJ album, but I want all of them, and I would like all of them at some point. But, if I get In Utero, then I'll have all of the basic Nirvana albums. Bleach, Nevermind, and Unplugged I already have. I'm never going to be able to make up my mind. I could ask for them as Christmas presents. My sister still believes in Santa...soooo....I don't know though lmao. I'm way to indecisive!

Found a couple unused Visa gift cards while cleaning out some kitchen drawers, decided to fill in my jazz collection a bit over the past couple of weeks.

    Great selections!
I don't have and haven't heard the Jazz at Massey Hall LP ("Charlie Chan", LOL) but read up a bit on it.  Looks like a must have!

How is the quality of that pressing of Bitches Brew?  I've wanted to upgrade my crappy sounding re-issue for literally decades but every one I've read about that sounds well mastered and pressed is well over my limit for that record.

    Anyway, enjoy!

I ordered from VMP and have not received it yet. I think shipping across the country in general has slowed to a snail's pace over the last couple weeks though so I'm not too surprised. FedEx alone is having some major issues.

So I follow pricing on Misfits records.  The price people are charging for the bootlegs is just stupid.  Why the hell would I spend $500 on a damn boot?

I do regret not paying the $600 a few years ago for an authentic Bullet single...

Shipping in general is all f’d up, especially USPS.  Thank the new postmaster general. Going to keep politics out of here though. Google USPS delays. Some interesting reading.

The Bitches Brew release is the 2020 We Are Vinyl/Legacy pressing. As a non audiophile, I think the quality is fine especially for under $25.

It's says "Ebba and Didrik". It's an "old" swedish kids miniseries in two parts I watched as a kid. Has been a white whale of sorts this soundtrack. The guy at the record store found it on one of his record-buying trips and thought of me.
