Man it seems like I'm the only one on earth who has no interest in Ryan Adams! You guys are eating his shit up but I just can't get into it. I also don't like Bruce Springsteen though so I'm prob the weird one.

I haven't been able to get into him either.... yet. But once in a while i catch a love clip from youtube and i think it's so good... But when I tried listening to his albums I was really underwhelmed. However, I actually have a to-do item in my calendar that reads "readdress Ryan Adams". Lol. Those live one off vids always really reach me, so I think I need to give him another chance. Perhaps I dismissed him too quickly before, I don't know.
A buddy has really liked him, I would go as far as he would call him a musical influence. I didn't like him much at first, but went back after everyone raved about his new record.

    Have liked his stuff since.

I like you so much  This guy is all over my social media. I have not found the motivation yet to check him out, but seeing that you say you were underwhlemed makes me think I might be as well. I should just check a video out I guess. But I am always predisposed when someone is hailed too much. It puts pressure on me. what if I don't like them? Do I have bad taste? Do I feel different about my peers because I am disappointed in what they hail? Lol

Is that boxset the recording of them playing the same song for six hours straight or whatever it was?

nice. i lucked out and found a 2009 reissue copy on a retail website for $38 before shipping about three years ago. i ordered it figuring it was just an oversight and i'd get a 'sorry, this isn't available' message, but they had it and shipped it.

It's not a new record. But it's a new record player and I have to say this record sounds like a new one to me. Can't actually believe how much difference it makes to play it/listen to it on a proper record player. Just WOW!!! And despite this is a Pearl Jam forum and you would probably expect me to play a Pearl Jam record as a first one... it just had to be Mark ;)

After the Gold Rush... again. I ordered it from the Neil Young website a while ago, and long story short, their customer service blows and I never got it.
But today its price is reduced on Amazon (still nearly $30, but still), so if anyone wants it new, I guess today could be an okay day.

Got the Euphoria Mourning vinyl. Little bummed it wasn't a gatefold, but the record sounds great and the material lends itself to the format so well. Was never a huge fan of the album, but I'm really digging it upon the revisit.
