Anyone here have any Wilco or Uncle Tupelo in their collection. I was wondering about their sound qualities? I only have Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and its sounds really good, hoping their other album are as good.

Wilco vinyl is all pretty kickass.

Beside the music itself - this is why Wilco's records sound great - they are pressed at Pallas in Germany - https://youtu.be/oZgsbh-XXyc

Probably the best pressing plant in the world...
The Live From Chicago record is probably the best sounding live album I have ever heard.
so warm.... sounds like Tweedy is sitting in the room with you.
also, I think Wilco uses analog masters which makes a huge difference.

At a local shop of all places. Couldn't believe it when I saw it up on the shelf.

And NOT the bootleg. All original, baby!

    Awesome sauce!
    Dare to say the damage?
Not too bad, actually. Cover looks great. Some corner wear. It has all the inserts. Vinyl shows some wear. After a cleaning, there was a little surface noise during some of the quieter parts and one pop during Off He Goes. My second listen will be a better experience. On the first, I tend to pay attention to the flaws or potential flaws instead of the beauty that is the music. Overall, quite pleased with the purchase. This is going to get a lot of play.

Possibly my favorite NY album? I think this just about does it. With this one, I have all of the Neil Young albums I really want.... maybe.

I've also got On The Beach, Harvest, Tonight's The Night, Zuma, Time Fades Away, Mirror Ball, Greatest Hits, and Old Ways (which i don't really like all that much). That's a fair bit of Neil Young... trying to restrict it a bit so that I actually end up listening to what I have!

That's awesome, would love to find this one some day, let alone for that price.

Yeah I agree, such a good record, did you get it on vinyl? Played loud is the only way to go, I'm going to look further into their back catalogue..

Let us know if your Cellar Door skips all over the place during the chorus of "Old Man." I've had two copies, and they've both done this. Others have reported the same defect.

    Sucks!

So much for Pallas being flawless. Other than that, it was the best sounding record in my collection.

Celler door is wonderful, does not skip once. Maybe its a repress. I would also have to assume your Massey hall sounds better then this.

That Blur record is a beauty, a nice reminder of how good these guy's are, am listening to it as I type this.. Also that Joy Division is sooooo good! I like how it brings together all the great singles that weren't on their proper albums. Happy listening! ;)
