How much was that? 500 bucks?tcadd94 wrote:My cousin just bought 4,000 records from this dude who was clearing room in his garage. A lot of '70s soul and jazz. Some Motown, some good '90s hip-hop. Good news is he's letting me dig through and take what I want.
Love me some wax.
200 bucks. He split it three ways with two of his buds. The guy really wanted to get rid of them. He's been on a vinyl kick lately. I have a collection that I've hadn't added to in a while. So I'm glad this deal went through. Half of his basement is floor to ceiling with records, it's insane.I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.
I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan

Wewent to check out a record store that we haven't been to before and went a little crazy

The two top left and the first in the second row left are cracking me up so hard
I cannot seem to walk away from a record with a cover like this. Well, oh yeah, and also not from Rick James.
Good stuff all around for little money
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -

Haha thanks dude, have wanted that one for quite a while, managed to get this in VG+ condition. Plus, it pleases the Mrs as she loves dance music, I'm a bit more picky on dance/electronic/sampled type music, but this I like alot.smarchee wrote:reesdog wrote:Second-hand:

Grabbed this last week…
Second-hand:
Reissue from 1983.
Have read and heard many good things about this album but never actually listened to it. Some say it's the best live album around (that's a huge call I know), saw it for $20 and in great shape so had to get it. Glad I did, superb record, The Who recorded live, raw and loud and I can see why it's revered as such a classic.

Get the CD version, too, for the WHOLE show. Amazing live album. But my pick for best live album goes to the Allman Brothers Band "At Filmore East."reesdog wrote:Grabbed this last week…
