Very cool having your record store guy on your side. A guy brought his record collection in yesterday to sell & my partner put these 2 aside for me:

Happy new year from 2015 here in NZ. It's looking good so far.

i like soundstage and have ordered from them many times but feel their service quality has really declined in the last year or so. not sure what's up with that, and i know i'm not the only one who feels that way. still recommend them, for sure, but something's changed there

found this in the used bin last night:

Neil Young Official Release Series, Volume 2. I am so happy about this boxset. :) Worth every penny. They sound incredible, just like the awesome sticker says they would, lol. #1054. Cool that the boxset is numbered, and so are the individual albums.

I know this isn't new vinyl, but I wanted you all to check out what my dad made me. He has been really getting good in his woodshop since his retirement. I asked him for something to store my records and he built me this. Drawers are cherry (deep/wide enough to hold any box set) and the rest is curly maple. Super pumped!

Yeah, just picked them up a few months ago. I had been using pretty crappy speakers for a while. The sound is incredible!

Picked these two up at the most excellent Red Devil Records in San Rafael yesterday:

Brian Eno, the bbc sessions: A most unusual Eno record. Recorded in 1974 with British glam pub rockers The Winkies. Eno's most punked out rocker ever.

The Rolling Stones, big hits [high tides and green grass]. German mono pressing. I like the US cover better, but having this in mono is awesome. Bill Wyman looks like a psycho mafia hit man with his pencil mustache in this cover photo, haha!

Always good finds at Red Devil!

    2014.

Quality New Zealand Post-rock three-piece. This is a full instrumental record, no vocals, 8 years in the making. Have been compared to the likes of Tool and Mogwai.
