Maybe my greatest day of collecting vinyl......
Mothers of the Invention - Weasels Ripped My Flesh
Beck - Sea Change Limited Mo-Fi release on black vinyl
.....and the grand-daddy of them all:
BENAROYA HALL #1781 $250
Destroyed by faulty water heater.
Vinyl before cleaning......
Vinyl after cleaning.....
The box and sleeves are toast.
No scratches, none are warped, labels are damn near perfect. And they sound quiet, clean and beautiful.
So happy, my Pearl Jam vinyl collection is now complete. I have all official vinyl releases.Pine Knob Music Theatre - Jul 31, 1992 Crisler Arena - Mar 20, 1994

Second-hand:
NM condition, remastered, reissue from 2007.
I saw Pavement at the 1995 Reading Festival, not long after Wowee Zowee came out, and they were fantastic. There was a power cut at one point so the band spent the time jousting with drumsticks until the power came back! It was one of the greatest festival line ups I've ever seen. As well as Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, Tricky and the very new Foo Fighters earlier on the weekend, check out the line up for the Sunday:
Blind Melon
White Zombie
Babes In Toyland
Buffalo Tom
Mudhoney
Pavement
Soundgarden
Neil Young/Pearl Jam (Mirrorball set)“Do not postpone happiness”

Yep it's a beauty of an album alright.
And wow, cool fesitval line-up! Went to the Reading Festival a few times myself, saw The Chilli Peppers, Manic Street Preachers, Beck, Elbow and a load more I can't remember because I was wasted. But never with a line up as good as the one you've mentioned. Ahhh the mid-nineties....what a goldern era for music! :thumbup:A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0 -
Have been wanting this for quite a while, have seen it on Ebay etc, but kinda pricey. Then stumbled across it at one of my local record shops, in great condition, so was a no-brainer to grab it.
Second-hand:
Beck - Sea Change.

You and I think alike my friend. My new copy arrived on Thursday, I listened to it last night, what a great album. The MO-FI pressing is simply superb. It might be my best sounding record in the collection. :thumbup:Pine Knob Music Theatre - Jul 31, 1992 Crisler Arena - Mar 20, 1994
