This was a holy grail of mine to get on vinyl and it sounds absolutely great on vinyl. One of my all-time favorites.

Does anyone buy CD's anymore as well? I got a new NAD amp a couple months ago and it is working amazing with my Klipsch RF-82 II's. I have a Sanyo turntable with an Ortofon Bronze cartridge and my cd's are sounding way better than my vinyl's. I just got the new National, Mark Lanegan, Heartless Bastards Arrow, Arkells Michigan Left and Amos Lee Mission Bell and they are sounding phenomenal on CD. With Heartless Bastards I played Skin and Bone on CD and then vinyl and then CD and then vinyl and the CD version blew it away. I have about 200 records and want them to sound amazing. Any thoughts?????

My vinyl sounds better than my CDs... I'm sure it just has to do with the equipment you use (I don't know anything aout the specific hardware you mention though).

Sound is much fuller and warm. Bass and drums sound way more pronounced. I have compared many vinyl and cd's of the same albums and the cd usually always wins. I moved the record player upstairs and hooked it up to my Tannoy speakers and it sounds awesome. Don't know whats going on downstairs when it is hooked up to the NAD amp and Klipsch speakers.

Kind of surprises me that CD has a 'warmer and fuller' sound than vinyl, because thats the description most people use when describing the vinyl sound, but I guess on the right equipment why not? Maybe you need a better turntable than the Sanyo (not exactly known for amazing record players) for a better vinyl experience...

Just my two cents worth. ;)

Yep for sure, a must for any collection, a totally classic album and like you say, sounds brilliant on vinyl. 'Exit' what a great song!

    Yes!
I don't care what anyone (including some of my best friends) says about U2, this is a great album- especially on vinyl.

yep, this is a great sounding piece of wax, it was a remastered re-release 2 LP from 2008 on new vinyl, cost $30 but I really wanted this album on vinyl.

The guitar on The Streets Have No Name sounds so clean and crisp it's amazing, this album is sure stacked the first 3 songs were huge singles

    great addition to my collection

Clutch Earth Rocker, IMO their best since Blast Tyrant which was release in 2003, not a song I don't like on this album, so pleasantly surprised

No because U2 plays the same setlists every show and have not released a good album...

Barking is good. I got it from Hot Topic for $9. Still trying to track down Dubnobass and Beaucoup. Passed on Beaucoup in stores for years and then wanted it and never could find it.
