    From 1980.

Definitely one of the best original UK punk bands...

    Very nice, reesdog

Cheers Brian, you know these guys too? So many good songs on this album! :)
For sure- that's one on my "want list". First heard about them reading a Henry Rollins book. Definitely one of the great early British punk bands! Cheers to you too, reesdog. :-)

thanks, took me a bit longer to get into this album than his others. I think it's because they are all covers and seem to be from a bygone era, like the 50s and early 60s, just took a while for the melodies to stay in my brain and get digested :-B

:) Yeah, when i first listened to it and realized what he was covering I wondered why in the world he would choose those songs, but then inrealized that after every song i would think, "wow, that was beautiful."

Nice Rico! The day one gets Mirror Ball is a good day. :) And Blood On the Tracks. So amazing. I don't even know why I still don't have this album... i even ordered it once and then cancelled the order because i had reason to believe that someone was buying it for me for Christmas... and then they didn't. :( Lol. It is going to have to be my next purchase I think.

Open it. The Men Ltd editions aren't worth much more than what they cost. Better to open it and enjoy it.

Pretty cool sleeve. Much better than what they did for New Moon (New Moon was a silkscreen on wall paper wraparound).

The best one is Campfire Songs which is a wood Sleeve painted and silkscreened.

Yeah it's pretty good, not one I love though. Prefer their older stuff, 'Seventeen Seconds' is probably my favourite... :)

    The Notwist-Close to the Glass

Oh, I haven't listened to them in a long time, but I used to like them a lot! I had a cassette from a friend with Notwist on one side, and Calexico on the other. I played it constantly back then. I might have to revisit them ...

I pre-ordered a maroon-black coloured Bleach LP today. Cancelled the Wu-Tang Clan. I love Bleach.

Great pick up of ATYCLB and HTDAAB. Would love to own those two but they're just way too expensive.

Thanks!!! I just finished listening to the POP album. It never was one of my favorites, but damn it sounds good on vinyl.

Agreed. Discoteque and Mofo sound so good on vinyl. It's an underrated album for them. I just wish they finished the album first before booking dates.

I always felt that it wasn't so much the album that made it underrated. Itnwas that ridiculous tour they did for it. The way they presented themselves during that time was really off-putting to a lot of fans IMO, and they ruined the album with it (not that it's a great album, but it's not actually as bad as its reputation).

Great pick up's Will! I have one of those, 'No Line On The Horizon', picked it up cheap, I like about half the songs on it. Have seen 'Pop' only once at my local record store and it was going for $100NZ, so you've done well there. Some rare finds indeed! :-bd

I'm with PJ_Soul here. And I never returned to U2, even though people whose opinions I value told me that the band returned to form with All That You Can't Leave Behind. After the mounting snowball-to-avalanche disappointments that were the Zoo TV tour, Zooropa, Pop and PopMart, though, I was done with these Irish clowns.

And they were one of my favorite bands -- if not my favorite band -- before Pearl Jam came along.
    I SAW PEARL JAM
