Andy with another strong effort. Who would have thought he would be the Yankees number two and in my opinion actually even pitching better than CC. Game 7 of the Series happens tomorrow I think I'd rather give the nod to Pettitte at this point.

Fantastic win today in spite of the runners with scoring position issue. Great to see the contributions from Garcia, Eppley and Wise as well as how the pitchers pitched to Harper. There's a certain 2009 quality to this run and we know how that year ended.

Only saw the first couple of innings, but as I was watching the highlights on my local news channel and during the play where Wise threw the runner out at home (which he was safe), the news reporter called him Dwayne Wade. He did correct himself after.

So much to say right now. Let's just start off saying....How awesome is it that Nova tipped his cap coming off the mound on the road? And along those lines, I was about 10 rows behind Harper when he got moved to right yesterday so you know I had to heckle the shit out of him (even though I like the kid, a lot). I had about ten or so people heckling him by the middle of the 14th. So many Yankees fans there. Nats fans tried to compete to no avail. I heard a lot of bad things about the stadium but I didn't think it was all that bad. Great weekend in DC. Great city.

Speaking of Harper. Love the 0-7. Andy made him look like a fool the first 3 times up, was awesome. Someone should shoot a note to Hamels that an old school welcoming to the big leagues is striking him out his first 3 at bats and making him look like a fool in the process. Schooled him. And Jeter's 1-7 was the loudest 1-7 I have seen. Everything was absolutely smacked.

I was impressed with the Nats though. Those guys can play some defense and it seemed like every pitcher they brought in had an ERA in the 1's, besides Lidge  They are going to be around for a while.

9 in a row. 19 our of 23. This team is on a fucking roll. A shit load of season left, but I haven't felt this good about this team since you know when. And the offense is still not firing on all cylinders. Just imagine...

Saw that. Always fun for the Yanks to get a pitcher fired.

I could have used a hit or two from him yesterday being that I have him in fantasy baseball, but I'm winning this week so I'll survive without it.

Can CC escape the first inning without giving up a run?
