It was on Hot Stove or one of those shoes on MLBN last night. Pretty funny.
And you said it, man. Dude tries to buy some karma points by getting his number from McCutchen by putting money into McCutchen's child's college fund, and he still can't catch a break.0 -

I'll have to find that.
haha, yeah dude, I can't help but find it amusing. Poor guy.0 -
The Yankees field trip today was to an improv studio. I really really hope there is video that comes out of this.0

Braves single game tickets go on sale Monday but i got a presale code so i was able to get tickets to all three yankee games here
Unfortunately i did not get the code till after lunch and most the good seats were gone :(
also the braves jacked up the cost of tickets for these games. I paid twice as much for yankee tickets as if i watned to see them play any other team.
Literally TWO TIMES as much It seems like bullshit they can do that
but i paid it cause i want to see my yankees and they only come here every few yearsCharlotte 00 | Charlotte 03 | Asheville 04 | Atlanta 12 | Greenville 16 | Columbia 16 |Seattle 18 | Nashville 22 | Ohana Festival 24 x2 | Atlanta 25 x20 -

Nice, that's sweet. Nationals ticket prices were jacked up too. The last series the played there is credited with turning around the 2009 season.0 -

Love the philosophy, but nervous about the execution, they haven't exactly developed pitchers that well in recent years.0 -
Everyone knows the story, but it's always fun to read it again.

I read it was on.
On another note, AJ is out until May at least, it sounds like.0 -

No doubt, that is about as bad as it gets.0 -

He's one of only 2 players taken #1 overall in the draft to never reach the majors. The other was back in the '60s (I think 1966). He probably would've made it eventually if he hadn't decided to get in a fight after his brother got his ass handed to him.0 -
God bless Brian Cashman.

TAMPA, Fla. – On the morning of the first game they’d play since Game 5, the night the New York Yankees all went home for the winter, Alex Rodriguez stood before them and, according to witnesses, gave the sort of speech that wouldn’t have been possible five years ago.
Somebody else would have told the Yankees it was time to commit in body and soul to the next eight months.
Somebody with credibility would have reminded them who they are. Somebody with clubhouse authority would have challenged them. Somebody who’d endured the terrible stuff, and drank the sweet stuff, and tested out as an honest-to-goodness Yankee. That guy.
Alex Rodriguez says he's been "on a mission" since the Yankees were eliminated from the playoffs in October.
For long enough, that wasn’t A-Rod, not in their eyes and not in his own heart.
But on Friday morning, hours before they’d open their spring schedule against the University of South Florida and start all over again, sources said Rodriguez commanded the room for more than 10 minutes like he never had before.
“It was great,” said one witness. “I’d never seen that out of him before. I didn’t know he had it in him.”
