I just threw up in my mouth.
  • We still have a chance maybe the physical will show that he's actually retarded which would explain a lot.

How often are we going to have to watch him cry about something? He's fit for about 125 games, right? So I'd say slightly over 125 times.

Happy new year to you. What's the Sox news years resolution? To not finish in last place, perhaps? ;)

I have really never had ANY respect for ANY d*dger, but jackie robinson did the right thing by retiring rather than go to the giants.

course, I don't think the giants were dangling $12M in his face.

    What about Hershiser?
  • I say Bah Humbug to this signing. Just what this team needs: another 30+ oft injured guy. I would have much, much preferred mark Reynolds, even if he is basically a right handed hitting Curtis Granderson. Gibve Reynolds a full season at Yankee Stadium, and he'd make a run at 50 homers...and 250 K's. But he also plays a great 1B. And came at half the cost of Youkilis, who has always been the biggest baby in sports

that was pretty fucking bad....but he handled his press conference like it was a AA meeting...."my name's Orel and I had a problem...."

I saw him beat the d*dgers at chavez latrine and it was great.

I don't know if I am slow, stupid, out of touch or a combination of all of them, but I have never heard Chavez Latrine before and find it hilarious.

If the Yankees' offseason has proven anything, it's that the club is still willing to bet on veterans. Until Tuesday, the Yankees' only off-season business, other than passively watching the free agent defections of Russell Martin, Eric Chavez and likely Nick Swisher, was the re-signing of 37-year-old Hiroki Kuroda, 40-year-old Andy Pettitte and 43-year-old Mariano Rivera. Now they have begun to address the gaping holes in their lineup, first by replacing one broken-down, formerly iconic third baseman -- 37-year-old Alex Rodriguez -- with another in 33-year-old Kevin Youkilis. ... They are by far the oldest team in baseball, made so because their player development system has failed to produce any players to replace the aging core.

The comments at the bottom are hilarious.

DO they have anyone in their 20's??
