I bet he'll be in. I wouldn't be surprised to see Arod out and Chavez in with Verlander but I would be surprised to see Gardner get his first real big league hacks in 6 months off Verlander. That wouldn't be fun.

I'm sticking with my almost all lefty lineup on the last page.

I enjoy the shit out of it. I think he missed the point he was trying to make. I don't know if it's that we "don't feel", I haven't stopped tapping my foot all day today, I think it's just the realization that there really always is next year. We don't have as huge disappoitment as fans of other teams feel because chances are, this team will be right back in the thick of things where a lot of other teams get one chance.

Glad he made the lazy US Steel comparsion only updated it to Wall Street....very original.

Maybe this team does need some losing to filter out the fanbase. I doubt they will be threating to throw me out for screaming when they can't sell tickets.

And I will say that if this gets to game 6, that place will be alive.

You may not believe what he said, either, but here was Alex Rodriguez's response when I asked him during BP tonight about the report in the New York Post that had him flirting with two women in the late stages of Saturday's 6-4 Yankees loss to the Detroit Tigers in the first game of the ALCS: "Don't believe any of that (bleep)."

A-Rod hasn't addressed the issue formally with anyone else so for now, that will have to pass for a denial. More later, hopefully.

I want to believe this is true but this is Arod :fp:

The Yankees could have gone in a hundred directions with the new Stadium. They could have built it without luxury suites and still made a fortune. They could have put everybody as close to the field as possible. Instead, they built the world's largest Automated Teller Machine: Every corner is designed to pull cash out of customers' wallets.

Hughes was squeezed by the HP Ump. I mean pitches down the middle not called for a strike.

Yankees can get a lesson from George Costanza on hitting. He'll get the offense up.
