Yeah. he's a good fit, especially at Yankee stadium, I'm just not a fan. Dont think he's all that good and going to get paid a lot in this market

I don't think the Yankees have heavy interest. It's just that Wilson's agent is doing his dilligence and possibly trying to sell the Yankees on his other clients.

Braves interested in nunez. Not sure I would want jurjeens with his injuries but they definitely have some pitching.

I'm not so sure about that guy but I'm loving the fact that swisher is drawing interest from multiple teams. Hopefully the Yankees move him this offseason I don't want to see him back in the pinstripes after another terrible postseason.

Eh, not going to dump him just to dump him based on the postseason but I am sure they will be listening. I am sure they'll listen for any other their outfielders. Gotta get a good return for any of them and Swisher is definitely the least valuable.
  • He's batting 160 with 4 rbi's in 100 postseason ab's as a Yankee. I don't want him on the team next October so I would love to see them move him this offseason.

Got to get to October first though and he has had 3 solid years with the Yankees. I am open to moving him, but you don't move him for lesser value just because he struggled in the playoffs.

I agree. There are plenty of players who struggled in the playoffs that were good in the playoffs. While he's not the deciding factor for them being in October, Swisher is one of 10 right fielders to produce 20 home runs and 80 RBI last year in the majors.

Agreed, and he gets on base at a good clip. He's not one of their superstars but he's a solid player. I'd move him in a package for a starter but I'm not sure who would want him that has pitching available. Atlanta needs outfield help but not sure they want to add $10+ mil. A's are clearly not an option. Will be interesting to see what Cashman comes up with.

Garza is on the market, it sounds. Can Cashman and Theo match up for the first time? I'd say the Cubs want way too much.

Angels want a catcher. This probably won't be liked, but Montero for Haren (am sure there would be more players involved)? I'd have to think about that, 2 years of Haren for 6 of Montero, I don't know. Then again, this will NEVER happen since Scioscia loves defensive catchers and prefered Mathis to Napoli.

Ticket prices released today. Mine stay the same. Grandstand between the bases rise quite a bit, was hoping to upgrade there but not going to do it now. Bleachers are now $20 a game, looks like the Yanks realized these seats are awesome in the new stadium.

Some of the more expensive tickets declined, rightfully so.

It sounds like the Angels are looking at smaller (in name) options such as Ryan Hanigan or Kelly Shoppach.

So it costs the same to sit in the non-obstructed bleachers as the grandstand outfield. I also saw something about a nine-game plan starting at 90 bucks per ticket.

Yeah, that's what I saw, but whenever a team is looking for a catcher, I have to think Cashman raises his eyebrows, especially a team with two legit pitchers like the Angels.

Yeah, I just posted about that. Pretty crazy, those are awesome seats though. I was there for the ALDS game and loved it. I would almost prefer to be there than the Grandstand with it being so far from the field. Then again, I love having a seat and the rooftop bar right by my section, I'm most likely not moving.

Edit: Yeah, got that email, not sure what that is, suprised they are offering that already. Mostly weekday games from what I saw. Suprised they are already pushing new seasons since they haven't contact current holders abour renewals. I think that my be $90 per ticket per game and for good seats. The email I got didn't really say.

Yeah, love it up there, directly outside my section. Not bad having a place to get bloody marys 30 feet from my seats on a sunday afternoon. Great touch on the stadium.
