  • i like the banning ESPN from the clubhouse idea

fuck them..they have nothing but hate regardless

what are they gonna do... talk bad about us? :D

It's not the first time they've had run-ins with ESPN but keep in mind ESPN also has writers who are in the BBWAA, so they can't technically ban the entire entity.

he was heckled by a Chi fan yelling
sweeped in chicago over and over again.
probably too many spirits , but it was wild.

why the fans woud be anywhere near a post game press conference escapes me.

Yes. Haha. It would be something but that is just so many hits. He'd have to play at this level until 43 or so and that just isn't going to happen. 4th all time is very realistic with rose, Cobb and Aaron in front of him. Nothing wrong with that.

He has 999 hits left to catch him, I believe. That is just under a third of what is already a hall of fame 17 year career. Say he has 49 hits here out this year, which is a huge stretch, he'd have to average 190 hits a year for FIVE years to do that. I just don't see any way that can be done.

I will say, I would think he would automatically launch to the second greatest Yankee ever if he did.

Good to see CC come back and look good, and especially it seems healthy.

I think it is pretty badass when player almost gets drilled then hits a home run on the next pitch. Or someone gets hit and the next batter hits a home run. I love when the Yankees do it. Hate when it happens to them. Gotta be a pretty good feeling for the player.

Yeah, because the last world series would have happened without him. They need any shell of him that they can get back ASAP. That Chavez run was awesome but predictably didn't last. Whether you like him or not, this offense needs whatever version of him they can get.
