I don't think that's it. You would think they would have a day off if they were traveling to another city.
I seem to always remember Thursdays as the day games for the Yankees. At my last job I intentionally took Thursdays off so I could go to the games. Maybe I'm just drinking to much now. :fp:

Fuck, man. I would love Mauer on the Yankees. By far one of my favorite non yankees in baseball. Just an awesome player and seems like a great dude. Numbers are back up a bit this year aside from power, but I just worry about that contract and his ability to stay on the field. He is awesome though.
Edit: And man, it would go over terribly with the Twins fan base, I mean horribly, but I bet any team could have him for not much at all.
