Eh, I wouldn't call that remarkable. Now if his first hit in the majors was at 2:00 pm, then I'd give it to ya. The home run alone is pretty crazy.

Also, gotta say, baseball is the greatest game on Earth because in no other sport does the game stop as long as it does in this one for major milestones, and even the other team comes off the bench to give a standing O. Big fan of the tip of the hat from the Rays as he rounds the bases.

They Rays definitely handled it well. That comes from Maddon I would imagine. I am not a huge fan of his, but he loves the game and its history.

Was classy of Jeter to wave and apologize to Price for the delay.

    I FUCKING LOVE DEREK JETER!

Yeah, from what I saw it looked like Damon was chomping at the bit to get out there, so I have a feeling he had some movement in that.

I think it might be safe to assume he ends up in the top 10 by the time his career's over. Possibly.

Yeah, he should be able to get that pretty easily, assuming he stays healthy.

    How was that? Looked incredible.

Definitely. I was just watching that also. And now he might be meeting Jeter after the game. You know that guy loves his girlfriend even more now for her getting him those tickets.

I go with what Elias provides and it has Collins at 3,314. Back in those days, there are various differences, such as Hack Wilson's RBI total during the year he had 190.
