    I'm of the opinion that they should play what they like, or not play certain songs if they choose. They are artists, who probably consider setlist making to be an art form. If that is taken away, their art is compromised. The artists should stick to what's interesting or important to themselves, otherwise the art suffers and dies.

    I don't think there's anything wrong with having this discussion. it's just a matter of preference. we all want the band to play what they enjoy; obviously a happy band makes a better performance. on the flip side, I'm sure the band likes to play songs the crowd will like, mixed obviously with what they like. if they didn't pander to the crowd, they may have retired Even Flow years ago. if I was them, I'd WANT to play a set of nothing but white whales, songs they never get to play live, but they know that 90% of the crowd would react with a collective "WTF song is this?".

    at this point in their career and after seeing many pj shows...this thread is pointless to me...which is why i'm posting ;)
    the band can do whatever they want and i certainly would never be disgruntled because we get EF every show or don't get man of the hour enough. maybe the new fans want to hear something but i can't ask for anything from them. i just don't have the balls to do so and besides this band is among the very few that already do an excellent job at mixing things up. IMO

    Shelve nothing, but play Brother at the next show I'm at, please.

    (I'll also admit I'm a little desensitized to a couple of the regulars, but those songs seem to draw the crowd it a lot more than the ones I get excited about, so what do I know)

    I find all the hate for sirens a little interesting. It does not bother me and it seems many folks really can't stand it. Not judging just making an observation.

    I do like to enjoy a few pre-show beers so zero chance I'm holding it throughout the whole show.
