I just ordered my AIC Jar of flies/SAP LP off of Amazon (with free shipping!) has anybody received their's yet? i'm curious if the etching on side 4 is the same (the sun) as the previous pressing of these LPs?

Awesome. So glad I didn't spend $100 on feeBay for the previous pressing.

Just bought a bunch of stuff from a buddy. Got a pretty good deal as it had tons of new unplayed vinyl. Some of it is doubles, but it's nice to have extras to loan out or abuse a little.

    APC-Emotive orange vinyl, 13th Step
    Tool-Lateralus picture disc, Opiate
Beatle-Help japanese press, wine red vinyl
    Mudhoney-Under a Billion Suns
Pink Floyd-Echoes(greatest hits), Saucerful of Secrets
    tons of Aerosmith
GnR-AfD import with the original artwork

    Hey guys!
I have a ton of vinyl from my parents that I'm DYING to spin!!!
    Only problem is.....I don't own a record player :(
Can anyone point me in the right direction of nice quality record players?
I would like to stay around 150-200 dollars tops....is it possible to get a nice one in this price range?
Hell, to start out I wouldn't mind a "suitcase" player....are any of these worth a damn?

    Thanks

the ever-so-rare Into The Wild LP on PICTURE DISC - they want $750 for it - if anyone is interested, its at Rockaway Records in Silverlake - I wanted to buy it pretty badly, but cant justify a $750 record.....
but i know there must be someone here who wants it for their collection. they only have 1. If no one here buys it, i fear i might do it......
you can buy it throught their web store if you dont live nearby: http://www.rockaway.com/online/online/t ... emID=16818

I picked that up last month from Rockaway Records. I think you have an old link as I checked the website and it isn't listed. It's tucked away safe in between my regular ITW vinyl and the Benny Hall vinyl set.

Cool, it certainly looks great (and thick!) - I haven't been able to play mine yet, but I'm anticipating a flip of light and dark! viva la vinyl

    NEWSFLASH: UFOs spotted over UK!

Robbie Williams’ worst fears were confirmed during last night’s summer solstice when almost unidentifiable ‘flying saucers' were spotted over Great Britain. The uncommon iridescent objects were said to bear an uncanny resemblance to the current Pearl Jam vinyl release (Pearl Jam are a vintage rock band hailing from across the pond). The object has been reported to have miraculously fallen from the skies in isolated patches over England in the past few days. Most locals failed to spot them since they have been surgically glued to television sets watching their local soccer heroes plummet and nosedive at a great velocity.

However, Williams (59) believes the current sightings augur well for the plucky English rapscallions playing away from home ‘We’re definitely gonna win it now!’ He said. 'With Pearl Jam behind us we may just go all the way to the 2nd round', he also said ‘It were the sun wot won it!’

Yay! Stunning - thankyou very much

I've always been a 'words' type - but seems you can't beat a decent image these days.... especially when the vinyl is involved! Can you eat or eat off vinyl do you think? Could be a lucrative career - ediblevinyl.com - there was a record label like that once I believe. cookingvinyl?
