this show definitely ranks #1 on my list. Not only because it was an incredible performance by the band who played one of the best set lists ever.... the GIBSON arena is very small, up front and personal. i also think the sound quality was excellent compared to SD.

for this show i got lucky... i was on the rail, front row orchestra. i didn't have to lie, cheat or steal someones else's seat.... haha. Thanks 10c.

thanks to all that have posted pictures!

this is gonna be a really good bootleg!
  • The show was excellent, the band was in a great mood and it showed. I think we also did a fantastic job of singing along to every song!!! I cannot believe how good Eddie's voice is even after screaming his lungs out every song...and the rest of the band played beautifully....

This show was one of the best I've seen in the last 18 yrs....right up there with the Showbox shows in Seattle. Thanks Pearl Jam for making it a magical evening....my son was with me for this one and he leaves for air force bootcamp next week....we had a wonderful time together. He is a huge Who fan and was super stoked when you played 'Reign', that and Cantrell made his night. Oh, and he kept going on and on about the string quartet...he was impressed! He has been to concerts with me his whole life and said that this one was one of the best he's ever seen. I could have done without the drunk guy behind me who kept pushing my seat into my knees and tapping me on the shoulder to get his buddies attention in front of me, but I've seen him before and he always has too much to drink. My son and I spent the next day driving up the coast on Hwy 1....took the long way home, LA to Monterey...spectacular....we had a very special time together....THANK YOU!!!

  • So now that I have my bootleg CD, I'm replacing the distorted audio from my iPod video and making a few live videos to post on Youtube.

To promote the band I'm going to add a bit of text telling people what song it is and where to get it. I think I'll also not do my usual watermark so fans won't get re-directed to my site which, admittedly, is not for "younger viewers."
  • OK, this turned out better than I thought it would.

Just heard this morning on KROQ that Patrick Warburton, the actor, got to write the setlist for this show. He was joking about having to follow Chris Cornell on the radio, who had just premiered the new Soundgarden song, and then spoke about how he was a huge PJ fan and friends with Ed. Afterwards, he mentioned how he got to write the setlist for the show the last time they were in L.A., October 7th.

I don't know how much input he had into the overall setlist, but I have to give him credit. That's a quite a show! Well done.
