  • Solid performance! We have to work on that defense for next week though.

Yeah, that isn't going to fly against the Giants.

Defense definitely has to play better. Nice to see Romo with no turnovers too....let's keep that up as well.
  • Can't wait to watch the game in Seattle at 5pm instead of 8pm. Time to party even after the game ;)

Well that sucked. Great game but you can't turn the ball over that much and expect to win. You can give up 24 points on 4 turnovers and expect to win. Bad bad game bad Romo. Kudos to the Giants but we gifted them 24 points.

We did gift them 24. Someone needs to explain to me why when your running the ball very well and Romo is obviously off why you don't just pound the ball at them and just give Romo safe options to pass, instead of that long that was picked inside the 5. They really gave this one away. Does anyone really think Phillips makes to season end? I wouldn't be surprised if Shannahan isn't in place by game 8.

Cowher would be nice, he'd turn around the defence for sure. Also just think how much better the d line and o lines would be and what he would be able to do with those three backs. Another coach I wouldn't have a problem with is Gruden. I have read rumours that Shannahan is waiting in the wings, I don't have a problem with him, has won 2 super bowls, his o lines have always been good and his teams always run the ball well. I think last night if they had just kept pounding the ball and gave Romo safe options the outcome would have been different. Romo has to be better than that.

I bet you really had a bad day yesterday!

One thing gives me comfort though. Romo had a shitty game and they still scored 30. The run game ripped the Giants. I wish they would have stuck with it.

I agree, the run game has been excellent in both games. Philips and Boy Wonder need to go, should have been gone after last season, especially considering Shannahan, Gruden and Cowher are out there.

He will be gone after this season. I don't have any doubt about that.

Worried about this defense a little. Greg Ellis has three sacks in Oakland. Ugh.

I like Greg Ellis, sorry to see him leave. But we must get better coaching. I'm not surprised the O line is playing well Hudson Houck is one of the best it just took him a year to get his system in placer. Dave Campo needs to go as secondary coach as well.

Back from Texas...what an awesome trip even with the loss.Tough game...we rush for 251 yards on one of the toughest defenses in the league.....almost win despite 4 turnovers.......hold the Giants to 97 rushing yards on and a 3.7 yards per carry a week after getting run all over against the Bucs....why Garrett decided to get cute going into the 4th quarter and go away from the run leading 24-20 is beyond me....I hope Jerry realizes by now he is not the answer for the next head coach. Romo, horrible....besides the INT"s, a lot of badly thrown balls, the defense needs to get more pressure, sacks and create turnovers. Spencer needs to start playing better across from DeMarcus as well as the corners playing a hell of a lot better.....but ya know what, I am not giving up on him or this team.....there is no dominant team out there right now, atleast in my opinion. It's only 2 games into the season. I have faith!!

Anyway, here's some pics from my trip if anyone is interested:

Wow!! Those are some incredible pics! Glad you had a good time. I have got to get to that stadium just once. Amazing!!

Agree on your assessment too. Running game was slashing the Giants D. But why stick with that when you can throw picks instead?

Also agree about no dominant team. Giants think they are but all they did was beat a bad Washington team and struggle to barely beat Dallas.

What's up flagg, bubba, bateman and other fans of Amercia's team? I used to post on the other site as reversedarwinism.

Yeah, honestly we had the NYG's number. If Romo would have played decently, it would have been a total blow-out. The NYG fans are wacking themselves off if they think they even kept up. Consider it a gift from Romo. Eli didn't play very either, until the very end. We stopped their run (which was supposed to be great), did decent against the pass and our offence ran all over them.

...But Romo, I'm truely disgusted with him now. He really has the more ability than almost all starting QBs, but its in his head. I've always been a backer of his, but I'm really starting to think its time to replace him. He just lost a big game all by himself. And the thing is we have such a good team. Unless something dramatic happens... I'm done with him and hopefully Jerry will be to. I'm thinking there are some very promising college players we should try to get. I like Romo, but he hasn't had a truely good game since Thanksgiving 2007!

    Hey reverse!

Well, I agree with some of that. I am starting to think like that too but he is libel to throw for 345 yards and 4 tds next week. Hell he just had a huge game against Tampa. He is frustrating. You just never know what you are going to get with him.

I'm more disgusted with defence. Romo played badly I agree. But in the end he led the team to a go ahead TD and all the D had to do was make a stop for once, and they didn't. They are almost last in all categories, they are better than this and hopefully they figure it out soon or they'll not even be close to the playoffs.

Another thing, why didn't they use their timeouts when the Giants were inn field goal range, at least try to save time for Romo magic. Like I've said before the coaching sucks. It would not surprise me if Mike Shannahan was not the head coach by year end.

Yeah, the defense completely collapsed in the 4th quarter when they had a chance to shut the door for the win. Barbie Carpenter and his stupid holding call. Whatever.

Anyway, tired of talking about this game. We need a win Monday against a desperate Carolina team.

  • The last 13 years have been exhausting as a Cowboys fan. Romo needs to approach the game a little more business-like. A good QB would have never made that shitty of a throw to Whitten that bounced off his leg for the INT. That was a simple pitch and catch. He doesn't execute the plays he has to and those make the difference in winning and losing. They're still very talented but they lack a few things to make them a top team like they could be.

Oh and Wade Phillips sucks a dick. A big black one. As does Tony Romosexual.

I don't put this loss all on Romo, the bottom line is when they were down in the 4th he lead them to the go ahead score, then all the D had to was make a stop and they didn't. If the D don't player better they'll be lucky to win 5 games. It was also up to the coaches to see that Romo was off his game and call low risk high reward passes which they did not. All QB's have bad games, Romo is no different, he'll bounce back this week.

It would not surprise me if Mike Shannahan was not the head coach by year end.
The problem with this is that Mike would want the power over the roster....not sure that the Jones boys are ready to share that piece of the pie....I would be happy with Shanny.
