Well fellow Cowboys fans...Anyone think we got a shot? This is it...lose and the season in all likelihood is lost.

I think for them to win, some things have to happen...touchdowns every trip in the red zone...have to run the ball very well...long time consuming drives...no turnovers...the D has to not only pressure Brees, but get at least 4 sacks...limit the amount of penalties...get turnovers themselves.

Thats a pretty tall order for a team seemingly in a tail spin.

The good news is if they lose, then likely Wade and company will be gone.

If a new coach is brought in next year, who should it be?

What about Mike Zimmer? Look at the job he's done in Cincy, that D was not very good until his arrival. I always thought he did a decent job with the D when he was in Dallas. I think the year he was D coordinator under Parcell's was the best defensive year Parcell's had here. I have read that he doesn't tolerate mental mistakes and makes his players accountable.

He might be worth a look. I somehow doubt Jerry is going to hire a retread NFL coach, he did that with Parcell's and Philips and has not worked out, my guess is he's going to look for someone who had success as a coordinator, plus that seems to be the trend these days. Jerry also likes people he's worked with, thats why I can see him looking at Zimmer. I still wouldn't rule out Garrett, but I hope he looks elsewhere.

The score Saints 34 - Dallas 31, I can see another loss, if Ware don't play, 44 -24 Saints.

I don't think we have a shot. But this is the NFL and weird things happen every week. The Saints had to go to OT to beat Washington. I wouldn't shock me if the Cowboys won, but I expect them to get blown out.

Pressuring Brees is the key of course. He never gets sacked and with Ware probably out, well Brees can probably rest easy. I think we will see the secondary get seriously torched tonight. I also think we will be sitting here talking about how well Romo played and everyone else sucked. That's been the case the past two games. It sucks that this December, Romo has certainly stepped up his game and tried his best to get rid of that December curse. Too bad the OL can't block for shit and the defense has decided to start getting burned on a regular basis.

If the Cowboys lose tonight, they are still alive but would need serious help to get in. I agree though, if they lose this game and don't get in the playoffs and win at least one game, the Wade is gone. Hopefully Garrett too. They had their chance with the Giants game. I knew we would lose to the Charges and Saints. The Giants loss is what really killed everything because that is a game that Dallas should have won.

I would be completely on board with Zimmer. Actually as long as it isn't anybody from the current staff, I'll be happy. I would like a complete turnover.

It's a good start. I like the fact that the Saints had to work for their 3 points, the D gave them nothing easy. Aways to go though, the Saints are explosive, we will need to score more for sure. What about Ware? He's monster, played with fractured foot, wrist and a week after sprained neck.

Well here it goes. Momentum slipping away. 14 unanswered points by the Saints and the Cowboy defense is collapsing. Seen this movie before.

Wow, very surprised, I doubt we could have expected the D to hold the Saints to 17 but we did and The O got 24, I'll take it. Didn't have to be that tense in the end, Folk has to go, no way you can go into the 2 most important games of our season with a kicker who has lost it.

    How about Ware?

Does anyone think that the Cowboys exposed some Saint weakness's heading into the playoffs? I thought the D for the most part controlled the Saints O line and O line of the Cowboys were exceptional, and Romo, what can we say about him, he's been excellent this last month. Great win!!!

    agreed

Why not use our kickoff kicker on fg's. He seems like he's got some pop on his kicks.

They worked him out last week, he was missing more than Folk. I say bring in some kickers and have an open competition, we can't go into the final 2 games against our rivals with a kicker with no confidence, he should have been gone this past week, just another reason why Wade has to go.

Does anyone know who holds the tiebreaker between the Saints and Vikings, because if the vikings do and both teams continue to win till the final Sunday will mean that the Vikings will have to play to beat the Giants which might help the Cowboys. All of that will be meaningless if the Cowboys win out and win the NFC East.

I believe Minnesota would because they would then have a better conference record. NO is 9-1 in the conference right now, Minnesota is 8-1...NO finishes with TB and Carolina...so if they lose one and Minnesota wins out, they will win the tiebreaker with the better conference record.

That's great, means Giants and Vikings game will be meaningful, That Washington game makes me nervous. One plus to that game is that Dallas will have a extra time to prepare and get ready.

hey buddy. i'm right here. thanks for thinking of me at 1:30 in the morning though :? :?

anywho... huge win for your cowpokes last night. like i said last week, i thought they would pull it out given how poorly the saints had played the previous 2 weeks against bad teams. in reality the redskins should have beat them and the falcons, who the birds beat by 30 points, nearly bet them as well. well the saints played poorly again last night. this just gives me hope for the playoffs! playoffs?!?! GO BIRDS!

oh, and here's my quote from last week if ya didn't believe me:

    :lol::lol::lol: :wave:

On a side note, property values in this area have stabilized and appear to be headed in a positive direction. Increased market activity...good for business...hint hint...

that is good to hear. unfortunately in addition to me not being able to order appraisals, i have since learned that i am not currently licensed in your state.....SORRY TENNESEE!

in other news, it would not shock me if the cowboys shock the saints next week. i've seen some chinks in the saints armor the last couple weeks. i think they may at least cover. just a feeling i have..
    .

    congrats

no i think the redskins and falcons exposed them like i mentioned last week.

it took a little better team to actually carry it through to a W though...

they are definitely vulnerable in the playoffs. so is minnesota, i think.

I believe the Saints hammered the Eagles in Sept :? And the 30 point victory against the Falcons was bogus since you played their 3rd string! The Eagles will find a way to play down to the Niners and lose today;)

Are we gonna make this bet or what?

yeah that's when the saints were playing their best football. now they are playing their worst football of the season. case in point: the saints barely beat the falcons who we destroyed by 30 points the week before. both games chris redmon was their qb  chris redmon! :D
you guys caught them at the right time.

    what was the bet again?
