Well this going to be a blowout.

You know, the Chargers don't need any help so can we do without the phantom pass interference calls when the passes are ten yards too far refs, mmm k? Thanks fuckers.

This teams just not very good from what I can see. If they don't win this game then the playofs are history.

    Yep.

Once again the defense is standing up to the call and the offense can't do anything. They are holding SD to 10 points in the 3rd quarter. Dallas ought to be up by 10.

Tie game now. Nice 99 yard drive! I take it back. Let's see where this goes.

At least Ware was moving his extremities. After Romo drove them 99 yards to tie the D gives up a quick score, this D is not very good period. I'm always amazed when Plillips stands their and tries to defend the job he's doing to the media. I have 1 question for Wade...Have you won a big game in 3 years in Dallas?

San Diego has the ball at the 10, now would be an excellent time for an 3 and out, don't see it happening, but I can hope.

    Game over, season over. Wow.

They really shit the bed against the Giants. I didn't expect them to beat the Chargers so that Giants loss really stung.

    DECEMBER:

It's the most wonderful time of the year
    (Most wonderful time)
    With the kids jingle-belling
    And everyone telling you
    Be of good cheer
It's the most wonderful time of the year
    (Wonderful time)

It's the hap-happiest season of all (wonderful time)
    With those holiday greetings
    And great happy meetings
    When friends come to call
It's the hap-happiest season of all

    There'll be parties for hosting
    Marshmallows for roasting
And caroling out in the snow (out in the snow)
    There'll be scary ghost stories
    And tales of the glories
    Of Christmases long, long ago

It's the most wonderful time of the year
    There be much mistletoe-ing
    And hearts will be glowing
    When loved ones are near
It's the most wonderful time of the year, ooh ah

Look at the bright spot Phillips and Garret are likely gone. That missed field goal really hurt them in the end.

Yeah I hope so. The play calling (1st and goal and 4 straight runs?) has been horrible. Garrett has to go. Romo has two straight good if not great games and we lose. Gah!!

As a Patritos fan, I'm very disappointed in the Cowboys. Was hoping they could knock off the Chargers.

Every shot of Wade Phillips on the sidleines looked like he just smelled a fart.

:D:D:D:D:D I know. Romo has stood up and answered the December bell, as has Witten, Austin and even Williams. That 4 strait runs baffles me, but shouldn't, Garret is about a vanilla play caller as you'll find. Personally Barber is wearing thin on me, I wouldn't mind seeing Jones bumped ahead of him. Either way season over, they will get rolled by New Orleans next week.

Looks like the wildcard will come down to between Dallas and New York with New York holding the tie breaker, I don't like our prospects.

  • Jeagler, there's a website that's centered around NAIA football that has a little trash talk here and there from various conference fans. Most of it is harmless, creative ways to jab people. There's also a "girl" who is a fan of one of my school's rival teams. She has a different purpose. Her intent is malicious and beyond the capabilities of most humans. At the end of the day, she's a friendless cunt who everybody would like to see beaten and killed so her words carry no weight.

Long story short, don't be that girl, Jeags. I wouldn't want to see that happen to you.

Dallas has trouble in December for a little over a decade. It shouldn't fill your heart with cuntification. You're a better person than that....I hope.

that is good to hear. unfortunately in addition to me not being able to order appraisals, i have since learned that i am not currently licensed in your state.....SORRY TENNESEE!

in other news, it would not shock me if the cowboys shock the saints next week. i've seen some chinks in the saints armor the last couple weeks. i think they may at least cover. just a feeling i have...

almost threw my beer on that drive....I was hoping at least when they went for it on 4th, there would be some play action or quick toss to barber on the outside....or how about giving Choice a chance?!?!?!....nope, same fucking thing 4 straight times.....

    i like your analogy, btw
If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?
  • I've figured it out. The O-Line is a gigantic collection of pussiness. They look great on the way down the field, but when they get in the red zone and it's time to play MAN football, they don't have the heart. On the drive you guys are talking about, there was no reason we shouldn't have been able to put the ball in the endzone. We had run 6 or 7 straight rushes with 5 yards being the shortest gain coupled with a few other runs for over 10 yards. They should have easily been able to run the ball for another yard but the line quit on the team. They should all be cut. Bunch of women.

We have 3 backs that are more than capable of powering through a small gap if provided but they just weren't given the chance because the line refused to block with the necessary amount of anger you need when you're in the territory. Face it...they're just gay. The Dallas Gayboys.

  • And another thing...I'm surprised you Cowboys fan don't realize this, but aside from being the place where Michael Irvin's career was ended, Philadelphia is the place where the dynasty in Dallas ended and that happened on a single play. At the time, the Cowboys were 4-3 and had already beaten the Eagles earlier in the season. It was 1997 and we were on the heels of our 3rd Superbowl in 4 years. We had the triplets.

Anyway, we had a 4th and 1 and tried to run a dive with Emmitt Smith. He was stoned at the line and it essentially sucked the manhood out of us and we lost 13-12. It marked the beginning of the end for the Cowboys run.

Including the loss of this game, Dallas finished 2-7 to end the season and that included 5 straight losses. They still haven't mastered the 4th and 1 play and obviously have not recovered from that single play 13 seasons ago.

    See for yourself...

Oh, and fuck the Philadelphia Eagles.

I don't remember that one. I remember the one from the game in 1997. Watching the tv, Dallas was driving from left to right. Emmitt took the handoff and tried to go up the left guard's ass. He was dropped immediately and I remember feeling like something was drained from me when I watched that play. It felt like to me that the Eagles wanted it more than Dallas. It was almost like they had reached a point where they were satisfied with their previous accomplishments and they sort of bowed out at that point. I can still see them looking deflated and defeated, almost like they weren't hungry anymore.

As it turns out, I was right. They haven't wanted it since.

I'm not gonna turn my back on them but I can point out shit that I don't like about them. It doesn't make me a hater. Hopefully Jerry Jones secretary will read this post and it'll filter back to him somehow. Ahh, the knowledge on the internet....

The 1995 one was when the Cowboys went for it on 4th and 1 in a tie game in their own territory and Barry called the same play multiple times. Eagles stuffed Dallas on 4th and 1 and one the game. Dallas won the Super Bowl that year, but much was made of their arrogance in going for it like that. Like Belichick this year.

Hmmm.... I wonder if Jerry is gonna go to the woodshed again?

I think the Vikings win the NFC and I would be surprised if the Cowboys even made the playoffs, but I haven't given up hope. I must be crazy, lol.

Apparently Barry Switzer had problems with 4th and 1 in Philly.

Remember the infamous 4th and 1 in 1995?

Like Belichick this year.

    they stop him agaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain!!!!!!

yeah, i remember that one. ;)
