Blatently... look at all the dates he's got in that area!

Need to subtract a couple of those and add Austin and San Antonio... ;) .... they're bigger cities anyway!
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I was in said shit pit at ACL and was pretty amazed at the amount of people that stuck around to see them. I had a friend who left early (does not like PJ) and he said that the back of the crowd was past the top of the hill. That is damn impressive.

It was a big ol' happy group of people singing, jumping around, and dancing in thick, juicy excrement for hours. If that does not show dedication and love then I dont know what can.

    Play the South.

So many people creating pointless threads about "Did you get tickets?", "Shut out from tickets at _____" it's getting hard to keep this thread at the top!

I have to admit I was hoping EV would play Ryman. I was going to travel to that if I was lucky enough to get tickets.

Anyone who was at Jazz Fest last year and saw the size of the crowd can't argue that the South doesn't love Pearl Jam
The gigantic crowd that stuck around and stood in the shit pit to see them at ACL should also say something about people wanting to see them in the south as well...

I was at both, and the number of people who stood in the shit pit on Sunday night at ACL was retarded... I couldn't see to the end of the crowd and at that point on Sunday usually people start clearing out to head home... but not that Sunday...

The amount of people standing in the dust cloud at Jazzfest was equally impressive.... has it really been almost a year already???

    PLAY THE SOUTH

I heard unconfirmed reports that the Jazz Fest crowd that turned out to see Pearl Jam was the second-largest in the festival's history, behind only the crowd that came to see Dave Matthews Band a decade or so ago (and god knows people in the South love them some DMB). I was at both shows, and if the DMB crowd was larger than the PJ crowd it wasn't by much (160,000 people were there the day DMB played, and it seemed like most of them were at the DMB stage).
And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

Wow, I'm impressed a post where you're not shitting all over everyone. I figured if you posted in here it would be to tell us you quit trying for shows in the south cause they'll never happen...
