c'mon Hawaii show :-) I have a trip I need to plan SOON and am hoping to plan it around a certain band's show on a certain tropical island...
I only work (volunteer) 1 week a year, December 6-13th. Other than those dates I would be able to make it . Wanting to head back to Hawaii next year for our 5th wedding aniv. anyway. Wouldn't be hard to talk my wife into traveling to THAT pj show .

December 9th. My sister in law's is 12/4, brother in law 12/14, hubby 11/26, so every year we try to do something together the first or second week of December. the in laws don't care about PJ though so I've had to be vague about plans this year hoping we'll get an announcement.

I'm not sure which is worse: Hawai'i show(s) announcement anticipation or that of Backspacer arriving.
I'm hoping for a "package deal" with Backcpacer release and a Hawaii announcement shortly thereafter. I was in that "church" for Betterman last show, and it was amazing. I'm all for trying to top that effort...

going by past hawaii announcements, at this point i am thinking/hoping for a mid-october announcement. and hey, that's cool. more time to consider the possibilities. the only thing that is really killin' me is wondering what the actual date(s) may be.

idk why, but i am thinking a mid-october announcement at the earliest at this point....

well, i believe freddy? mentioned earlier that the last pj show in hawaii was announced mid-october for an early december gig, so there's that. also, we're already at the end of september, shows already begun....CD just released......there's a BIG empty gap in october, so seems the perfect time for an announcement.
at this point, while always a dream in any case, and always dependent on exactly when they'd be there......i have a feeling the dreamers may well miss out on hawaii even if the dates 'work' for us. still would love, love, love to go....and not ruling it out entirely, but thinking practically, it may just be the smarter move for us to skip it. :( idk. we'll definitely see when the dates get announced. either way, i still look forward to the announcement and knowing!

But if dates work out my Amex will bear the heavy lifting of flights & hotels.

hahahahahaha, i hear ya. it's not so much tings of that nature, just different financial priorities we want to focus on, or should focus on....;) as i said, right now that's my 'logical brain' talking, and it might win out.....really depends on mr. dream. we both keep vacillating. b/c definitely on the one hand, he'll say....we should'nt go....and then a few days later he'll say we really need a real vacation.
C'mon PJ, just one little show announcement, you can do it.... Do you know that U2 just announced dates for Sept 2010 that are going on sale next week? You'd hate for all the U2 fans to get a leg up on the PJ fans....
