Aloha Stadium is also available to continue the Aussie tour trend of stadiums...

I came home from work on a Monday night and some freak was doing cartwheels and shit down the street...it was my wife because PJ just annouced the date and she TOLD me she was going (like i had a say in the matter )

well they helped pass my workday today, hope they did/do the same for ruby'sdad. tho i am sure a hawaii announcement would be a LOT more fun for him....and us!
i will say, seems i must've missed quite the seating shitstorm here yesterday....whew! i only read some aftermath.
i promise not to complain one bit if i get a pair of tix to a hawaii gig.
When it happens (note the positivity) I hope it's not Aloha. We missed almost all of PJ's set opening for U2 in '06 cause traffic sucked. We were staying 15 mins away yet it took nearly 3 hours to get to the venue. I heard most of PJ through the sun roof until in a psychotic frenzy I took the rental car over a median and parked on a sidewalk.
But I'll take anything in Hawaii, just announce a show (or two) soon please!!
if they play in hawaii they should try to get Pepper to open. im not a big fan of most new bands, but Pepper is fuckin amazing live and they are from hawaii think it be a good opener for PJ

Honolulu rush hour traffic sucks, but most other times it was okay. When visiting there I was told that traffic to Aloha Stadium when there's an event is horrible and that info was correct on 12/9/06, but I mostly blame the organization in charge of the venue. There were no event people out directing traffic and not enough parking, it was a madhouse. I've gone to the stadium for the weekend swap meets and we had no problems and the PJ show on 12/2/06 at Blaisdell was well organized with people out directing traffic, piece of cake. We've been locked in around Waikiki when events have roads closed as well. Outside of rush hour and events traffic was not a problem most days for us.
