That said, I love baseball, Cedar Point, Hollywood blockbusters, and NCAA college football.
I'm so sorry you are Cynical regarding "God Bless America!" With that said- I was born and raised in Ohio (Cleveland) and became military at 17. Howeverer - one thing in common -I love that you love Cedar Point! Cedar Point ROCKS! I personally love everything about the Constitution, I love our troops, I love being free to support PETA, I love being an Independent thinker, I love that as a female, I was able to obtain a college education, I love Pearl Jam Music, I love Dairy Queen, In Demand television, Verizon Wireless, Vonage. Geez! The list goes on and on! I'm very proud to be here! Lucky to have been born here! The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated - Gandhi

Just trying to make it positive. Knew you wouldnt resist a chance to take a swipe at my country might have something to do with it.
This is an American band with a free forum to talk politics. Not a magnet to attract anti american haters. Take your act somewhere else. Its old.

"God Bless America"
What a ridiculous phrase. As if God - if there were such a thing, which there isn't - would recognize borders and nation states and differentiate between them. Do you ever hear anyone saying "God Bless Equatorial Guinea", or "God Bless The Federated States of Micronesia"?0 -

I noticed in Paris that there were really no women that rivaled the gorgeous women I saw daily in Chicago. On the flipside, there were also no women to rival the hideously ugly ones you see at your average WalMart or Cedar Point. It was the first math discussion I've had in years, as a friend and I concluded that the 'mean' is higher in Paris, but America has a greater range
That said, the women of Spain are without doubt the sexiest I've ever seen. But that might have had something to do with being in Morocco the two weeks before and seeing nothing but fully covered women everywhere... then cue Spain, gorgeous women, Western clothes... I was a wreckStill, if you can get the cream of the American crop, our women are pretty elite, hehe.

I know you're trying to keep things positive but Are you saying that if one does not believe in this God Bless America BS you're then an American hater? I love this country even more knowing that I don't have to buy into everything we must to be perceived to be a true American.

I agree. One of the things that makes it so great to live here is the fact that we CAN question everything that's put before us by the government. In their early writings, many of our founding fathers- such as Thomas Paine- indicated that it is our DUTY as patriots to question those things put before us.~I want to realize brotherhood or identity not merely with the beings called human, but I want to realize identity with all life, even with such things as crawl upon earth.~

absolutely agree. and this is what sets us apart from country's like China and Iran. we are far from perfect, but we certainly are allowed to speak our minds.0 -

Don't kid yourself. This forum is anything but free. Ask Kat why I was banned for insults if that's the case? That's right. Insults. Just today? If you dont subscribe to the message of the powers that be on this board you aren't free....youre banned for life.........
And be careful the admins have preferences. Clearly the message of love for country is not a popular one here it gets you banned. Perhaps if I started more damn America, and evil Israel threads like a few trolls do I could avoid the dreaded ban for life....Good thing im a cat. 9 lives baby.
bye.......4......now. Fight the positive fight.
