    Good marketing ploy there, get people to preorder the CD to go for the presale, and not ending up getting tickets. They'll probably only have about 40 on presale and sale out in 5 seconds on general sales. I'm pessimistic on getting tickets for this as the capacity is 3000.

    I'm ordering the album from HMV.com just to up my chances of getting a ticket. Will probably end up gifting the album to a friend in London, as I won't be there when it's shipped in September.

    I'm hoping Ten Club gets some tickets too - there can't be a better way for me to lose my Pearl Jam-virginity!

    That is pretty bad form in my opinion. I'm all spent up going to London and Manchester (similar gigs one day after each other) and this beauty drops from nowhere. I bought tickets on 10C, so I can't even get tickets to this one and then sell my Manchester ones on.

    Maybe I'll have to see if the wife will sell a kidney so we can go.

    Venue have NO details yet.....but they say that doesnt mean its not happening.

    Its just not venue event confirmed......

    although it's insane, i'm seriously considering traveling up and down to london for this show. Leaving here the 11th, getting back the 12th. Next day Rotterdam. Then the 15th I'm going to London again for 5 days, short holiday planned around the O2 show.

    How would you manage it logisitcally, come to the Uk a week earlier? As I'm off to Germany on the thurs...back early hours monday morning for the two shows mon and tues....

    the HMV pre-sale is 2 days before general sale.
    Tickets to the special one-off small show will go on sale via a HMV pre-sale from July 21 to fans who pre-order forthcoming new studio album 'Backspacer.'

    General sale then begins on July 23.

    so even though hmv do not mention this do we start preordering? and which version do you have to preorder?

    as they have two? can you imagine ordering one and fuinding out you had to get the other?

    I'd go as far as saying one news site has it, as NME and uncut are very closely related and probably share the same info.

    Still I see it being very accurate. The woman at sheperds bush was vfery quick to point out it wasnt official yet. Too quick in fact

    I know, its parb for the course these days, things leak so easy I guess.. The venue said it hadnt been made official yet so really it shouldnt have been reported.
