Does it go up in price with the size of the shirt?
? maybe for xxl and up....maybe a $1 if I remember right. Will we need big ones?

Okay, here are the Alpine Shirts!

I made 2 versions. I think regardless of which text we use (click links to see difference), this should go on a yellow shirt. Because A) It's a bright obnoxious color that Ed should be able to see if someone in the front rows happens to be wearing one. B) You have to acknowledge green or yellow if it's a WI themed shirt.

    So here's version 1:

    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k41/AutoX_FIB/AlpineV1.jpg

    On a shirt:

    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k41/AutoX_FIB/AlpineV1onshirt.jpg

    Version 2:

    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k41/AutoX_FIB/AlpineV2.jpg

    On a shirt:

    http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k41/AutoX_FIB/AlpineV2onshirt.jpg

I'd also like to put "I Survived the Ice Bowl" on the back if it doesn't increase the price much.

What do you guys think? Vote for which one you like!

I like the first one better that has East Troy on it. "Greatest Venue on Earth" could offend some people, even though it is the greatest. If someone gets close to the front, they gotta try getting one of those shirts to Eddie!

Anyone know if Atomic Records is still open on Locust? Since we're coming down to Milwaukee, I want to check it out. Haven't been there for years.

Yeah, my idea was to push some people's buttons with the "Greatest Venue On Earth" part, just because some people think Alpine is over-rated. I figure it would be a good conversation starter when you wear it to other future shows. We'll see what the concenus opinion is though.

Tempting, but if I don't put a date on these then we can wear them more in the future ya know? I'll probably wear this for atleast one midwest show a tour if they aren't scheduling shows for Alpine at the time.

I have this in to get a quote for the shirts. He said the price drops for every dozen we order. I should hear back from him soon.

ps....I agree with not putting a date on it. If we put something on the back I would make it something like: "Ice Bowl Survivor"

EDIT: Adding wording on the back is going to increase the price between $1.50 and $2.00 a shirt. FYI.

    Got the t-shirt quote:

For 36 w/ 1 color front print only:
    FOTL tees - $9.75 (s-xl) +tax
Amer. Apparel baby doll womens tee - $12.75 (s-xl) +tax

For 50 w/ 1 color front print only:
    FOTL 5.6oz s/slv tees - $9.25 (s-xl) +tax
Amer. Apparel baby doll womens tee - $12.25 (s-xl) +tax

OR give us 3 weeks to turnaround the order and here is your pricing:

    36 FOTL - $8.75
    36 baby doll - $11.75
    50 FOTL - $8.25
    50 baby doll - $11.25

This does include only a 1 color 1 location design. if you want to do multiple
color garments, there is no extra cost as long as the print color stays
the same (changing ink is an additional cost).

I am checking on how much more to put something on the back...thought I asked but he didn't include in the quote. And asked about XXL price. I'll reply (by edit) when I hear about that.

We would have to order by this Friday to get the 3 week turnaround discount. I would assume a quantity of 36 would be pleanty?? Maybe start a new thread to get an initial order....then we could get a few more to sell at the pre-party??

    What do you think?

I like the idea of putting something about the Ice Bowl on the back. Good idea to commemorate the coldest concert in PJ history, maybe all of concert history. " I survived the Ice Bowl or Ice Bowl Survivor" works for me.
    Great idea!

That’s pretty reasonable for pricing, sounds good to me.

Cool, maybe we offer them in Yellow, White, or Gray? We can do different sizes on these too right?

Hmmm, this Friday is cutting it pretty close for timing. Maybe we could aim for having all orders in by Aug 1st? I'd feel better about having 36 of these printed if we had some more committed orders. I wouldn't want anyone left holding the bag having to pay for a bunch of extra shirts if they don't sell.

Let’s get a new thread going for this too so we can garner some attention to it. I’ll post it up on Red Mosquito too.

Check your PM for some other questions I had for you too.

I think a kick-ass shirt would be to keep the front the same, but on the back have it like a sports jersey with "Ice Bowl" across the back of the shoulders and 00 for a number. Just a thought.

Cool, did you hear back on the additional cost for printing something on the back?

And what about 2XL size cost difference?

I just need to know that and I'll finish the design (we'll go with the 1st one) and make a new thread for this.

Got another question for ya via PM too.
