Dear all, you may recall, my last thread on this basis....

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=137473

I have been working with the kind hearted soul who made phase 1 possible and I'm delighted to bring to the fourm the second and final stage of the setlist sale. It was always intended that this would be a two stage process and here is the last available setlists.

Same rules apply as last time. This will remain open until 19th November (unless otherwise notified in this thread), up to midnight PST on the final day......I am always available for any queries, and bidding is via PM here. Its not a silent auction as such, more a best offer wins. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so if you see the show you were at and want to own a great stage used momento of that night, please bid and help us raise more monies for a great new cause. Starting bids will all commence like last time at $50

NOTE PLEASE SEND YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS WITH A BID AND YOUR FIRST NAME

Shipping will be extra and there may be a small fee added for paypal fees....

Final word - these are originals...100%.....guaranteed authentic. I can not affirm that any clearer than this, anyone with doubts please do not bid. But you will not be disappointed if you do.

The beneficiary this time around will be a new emerging charity that is to be based in the USA. The money raised will be essential in getting the project up and running, it's focus being that of youth development in the arts field, supporting and promoting young people to excel against the odds... Adding that little impetus to people to follow their dream... I love the idea... Projects like this can really make a difference in turning around lives and offering opportunities to those struggling along who possess a raw talent... It is hoped with this fund raising the non profit foundation will launch in the early part of next year.

UPDATE - added as at 11th November 2010....

a fully signed Eddie Vedder Tambourine....given away in 2004 by Eddie, and signed by all (not Boom)....

rules as before.....silent bidding on this one.....

starting at $100 - with a reserve set (to protect its value - not dissimilar to the torronto poster value).....

This is an exceptionally cool item...a genuine PJ piece of history.

Bid with confidence....the autos are as real as they come. I wouldbe be involved with anything other than that.

UPDATE

Hi All, im getting many Qs about how to rebid and if notification will be given as to being outbid.

This due to the sheer admin involved is not possible, which is why we only ask you dont treat it as bidding but as what you are willing to pay....

however like last time....

with 24 hrs to go i will reveal all present winning bids to give that last chance to check your position and perhaps rebid if you wish...Id dearly love to be able to check in with each person as bids come in to let them know they are no longer winning but i just dont have the time resources to do so

this takes a lot of time to process anyway, and all i can do is my best so by doing this it gives an insight as to what bids are in the lead

Buyers names will not be disclosed.

cheers

Good luck with the sale Paul. I'm sure it will benefit a great charity.

Is there anything else that might have got missed?

In particular I am looking for both St. John's, Newfoundland (September 24/25, 2005) - Last 2 dates of the Canadian tour. These were the first shows I ever attended and I would happily start a bidding war with anyone on this board to get them.

    Again, good luck!
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I'm with Shep, good idea for a good cause...lots of cool lists up for grabs. 8-) Too bad there isn't an 00 Indy or '10 Indy or Columbus. Would have more meaning, and therefore more likely to try and outbid someone else, if I had been to the show.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

ps. Paul, don't ever forget to let me know if a 2005 Buenos Aires setlist ever comes up. Talk to you soon, regards to you and your family.

I do have a question for you. Is my bid considered a tax deductible charitable donation? I don't really care either way, but I am curious.

    Thanks!

I sure hope to win this set list. The one I bid on was my first PJ show. My brother took me and I haven't been the same since. To say it was a moving experience would be an understatement. I will keep my fingers crossed till the 19th.
    Thanks Paul :D

    Hey All,

Just wanted to ring in about this awesome charity.

I was lucky last round to be the high bidder on the 2006 San Diego Set list. My favorite show of my ten show run that year.

When it arrived I was amazed at how awesome the set lists are. They are a copy of the original that is hand written, BUT they are fully inscribed with tons of additional notes in the original tech's hand. I framed both sheets and they look awesome.

The only better way to cherish the memory of an amazing show beside listening to it, is to gaze up on the wall and see the Set List, Poster, and Ticket stub.

I've also attached my original Journal entry about the show on the back of the frames.

Will be a kick ass keep sake that gets passed down to the next generation.

Thanks Paul for the great opportunity!

Good luck everyone, bid early and often as all money goes to an awesome charity!

    - Nathan Wilds

wow thanks Nathan, cool story and nice to know the setlists have been appreciated and displayed

a little known fact about Pj setlists is that they are always copies on stage...I say always - perhaps the odd one slips through onto the stage, but normally the bands archivist writes out eddies set list, and the original is copied so many times for each member and then the original is stored for safe keeping....

so what you have here are stage used originals - like nathan says annotated for a particular band member by the techs

EDIT: Will try to get some pics up when I get home.
