I know I was tempted!....but seeing as I was able to get good seats for the other two shows without paying the fan club fee I didn't really want to lay down another $100 for that.....Would have definitely picked up tickets if I was already a fan club member! There is no political solution
To our troubled evolution
Have no faith in constitution
There is no bloody revolution
We are spirits in the material world
Our so-called leaders speak
With words they try to jail you
They subjugate the meek
But it's the rhetoric of failure
We are spirits in the material world
Where does the answer lie?
Living from day to day
If it's something we can't buy
There must be another way
We are spirits in the material world

been hearing alot of shit-talking and smart ass remarks about The Police and their lack of credibility lately. I could see not being wild about Sting as a vocalist, but as far as musicianship, these guys are the real deal. Seriously, I'm 28, so I missed the boat the first time around. I've been waiting for this for 15+ yrs. And as far as the ticket prices, get a clue, its quite a competitive rate for bands of their generation and stature.
Anyway, can't wait till August 5th"Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, down, down"
When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"
I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows; So fucking what.0 -

im 40, and i missed the boat the previous years.
my friends all went to shea stadium , while i was home studying. .
i am so glad to be getting a chance to see / hear these songs performed together by the boys,. and figure if they had been touring all of these past 15 years or so, theyd have made that much money anyways.
take a look at some of the prices for genesis , the who, or the rolling stones ,
just because we happen to be spoiled by PJ and Bruce , people think that any other band(s) are exorbitantly priced can " lick their balls "..... , which is fine by me , cuz that vacancy just might get me closer on my 300 dollar ticket.
cant wait for august and then november.
AC will be awesome. For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

Copeland wants Police to break rules at Bonnaroo
05/22/2007 7:42 PM, Reuters
Jonathan Cohen
He may not be able to convince his bandmates, but Police drummer Stewart Copeland wants "the rules to be completely different" for the reunited trio at its upcoming Bonnaroo performance, including possible guest appearances from other artists.
The group's first reunion show is Sunday (May 27) in Vancouver; it will headline Bonnaroo on June 16 in Manchester, Tenn.
"When the stakes are really high, we always come out of the box swinging," Copeland said of high-profile gigs like Bonnaroo during a conference call with journalists on Tuesday. "Sting and (guitarist) Andy (Summers) are two guys who just don't back down. The bigger the prize, the harder they fight."
That said, Copeland is trying to help Sting and Summers understand that the hardcore Police fans will be coming to more than one show on the reunion tour, and, as such, will be expecting the set list to change regularly.
"We've got a fairly rehearsed set," he said. "(But) those people who bought most of the tickets for most of the shows are not normal people. They're like the people who bought all the Oysterhead tickets because of Trey (Anastasio). Those type of people, I think, buy more than one show. I'm trying to get that through to my buddies so that we change it up a little bit."
Copeland admits that it will take him awhile to get used to playing in front of such large crowds. "The kinetic ritual of it is really startling," he said. "If you're at the focal point of all that return energy, that kind of makes your heart pump a little faster. It takes about two hours after the show for your heart rate to return to normal. I have to stand under a cold shower for 20 minutes before returning to a normal humanity."

Stewart is an amazing drummer.....and I really hope he convinces Andy and Sting to mix up the set lists......The last group I saw on back to nights other than PJ was the Stones and they played a grand total of two songs different between the two nights!Van 92.07.21 / Van 98.07.19 / Sea 98.07.22 / Tor 98.08.22 / Sea 00.11.06 / Van 03.05.30/ Van 05.09.02/ Gorge 06.07.22 & 23 / EV Van 08.04.02 / Tor 09.08.21 / Sea 09.09.21 & 22 / Van 09.09.25 / Van 11.09.25 / Van 13.12.04 / Pem 16.07.17 / Sea 18.08.100

Police in Atlantic City Tickets
i hope our fellow fans that have already seen the show
can fill us in on the "open stage" settup .
enjoy !Well they blew up the chicken man in Philly last night now they blew up his house too
Down on the boardwalk they're gettin' ready for a fight gonna see what them racket boys can do
Now there's trouble busin' in from outta state and the D.A. can't get no relief
Gonna be a rumble out on the promenade and the gamblin' commission's hangin' on by the skin of its teeth
(Chorus)
Well now everything dies baby that's a fact
But maybe everything that dies someday comes back
Put your makeup on fix your hair up pretty
And meet me tonight in Atlantic City
Well I got a job and tried to put my money away
But I got debts that no honest man can pay
So I drew what I had from the Central Trust
And I bought us two tickets on that Coast City bus
(Chorus)
Now our luck may have died and our love may be cold but with you forever I'll stay
We're goin' out where the sand's turnin' to gold so put on your stockin's baby `cause the night's getting cold
And everything dies baby that's a fact
But maybe everything that dies someday comes back
Now I been lookin' for a job but it's hard to find
Down here it's just winners and losers and don't get caught on the wrong side of that line
Well I'm tired of comin' out on the losin' end
So honey last night I met this guy and I'm gonna do a little favor for him
Well I guess everything dies baby that's a fact
But maybe everything that dies someday comes back
Put your hair up nice and set up pretty
and meet me tonight in Atlantic City
