World of Hurt is a classic Patterson tune...reminds me of The Three Great Alabama Icons
I really like this album a lot.

DBT is one of my top 3 favs. PJ being #1 of course. Then Ben Harper and DBT. I have seen them live twice. Fucking great! They got a DVD in stores if you don't already have it. Between these 3 groups, and Bob Dylan, I'm going to be a broke motherfucker after the summer, I have 5 PJ concerts planned , 2 Ben Harper, 2 DBT, and 2 Bob Dylan. Yeah!tacos0

They're coming to Louisville...I'd like to go.
The Nashville show was great.
DBT is one of my favorites.

I think Daylight is great... Goodbye is growing on me... Easy on Yourself is a good track....
I don't know why I'm holding out on pre-ordering and downloading the new album, but I am.... I figure I can wait another couple of weeks... but I love the stuff I've heard so far (except maybe for Feb. 14 - not a bad song, it really just didn't have much staying power for me)...
hoping to see them here in May...0 -
BTW... if you pre-order through Tower Records, you get a bonus disc with ABAAC... the Like A Rolling Stone cover, a live track, and two previously unreleased songs...0

Really? I thought it was extremely catchy from the first time I heard it until today...I may have worn it out a little though.
The lack of Cooley songs is disappointing.

Cooley can be described best in this quote, pulled off a tribute someone made at blessingandacurse.com:
"It's like Johnny Cash, Keith Richards and Levon Helm all beat off onto the corpse of John Oates...and then lightning struck the corpse and from its electrical discharge a new rock titan was created, and the gods called him Cooley."0 -

But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.0

Really? I'm still debating if I want to pre-order in order to enter in that contest.
I already have the album, but I support their music, so I want to pay my dues.

Man, I think I'm the only one holding out for the cd to get released.
NakedClown - You attending either (or both) of the HOB shows? Was thinking about maybe heading up for one of them..."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Well, I just found out that the two primary songwriters from the Jayhawks (Gary Louris & Marc Olson) will be doing a show here on the 3rd, so I guess I won't be heading up to L.A. I'm a little worried as it'll be an acoustic show though, and my ears will be ringing from DBT the night before."You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.
